A good knife at this price, not quite as good as a real one, but very close
Overall this is a good knife at a relatively fair price. Extremely comparable to the real thing, misses in a few areas but for this price its a great knife. As a disclaimer, I have a couple real BenchMade knives and sadly lost one recently so I bought this as a potential replacement for my EDC that I would care less if I lost. I will still probably use it for that purpose but it is not the level of quality or craftsmanship of a real BM. The blade flips open really nice, and does drop closed but it will require some oiling and you'll need to work it in a bit to achieve the desirable action. There is a very small amount of play in the blade when it is locked open, hardly noticeable and unless you've had a real Benchmade this probably won't bother you.The blade is sharp, surprisingly sharp actually, right out of the box. I don't feel a need at this point to mess with it at all and will wait to sharpen if/when it dulls. Can't speak to the blade metal but we will see how it holds up over the long term. The pocket clip is way too tight, it's very difficult to draw this from your pocket and I will probably just take it off or find a replacement. Again, at this price point it's expected.Overall a great knife at this price and I would recommend, but don't expect the real thing.

Way better than expected. Solid, tight, opens well and razor sharp
The media could not be loaded. Wow. So. I really didnt expect much. but its WAY better than I thought. Its solid, may need a little cleaning, but out of the box it snaps open, drops closed. isnt loose at all. tight fitting. RAZOR sharp. The metal is definitely NOT high end steel, but that ok, and when I tap on it while its open, you can hear the, well, the fact its less than premium. But I cant bend the scales, I do not know if they are carbon fiber or not, and that is saying something. I expected cheap plastic look alike weave, and well. this may actually be good fitting carbon fiber. I am 95% sure. and if nothing else, these scales should fit on a bugout and be half the price for a full carbon set from anywhere else. I am very happy with this purchase, for this price I would say the action and feel and mechanics are as good as any knife in the same price point. Very light, very snappy, very sharp. very solid action. To be fair, I havent cut anything with it yet except my arm hair which it did smoothly. Hit me up for more questions.

Mostly good
This is a clone, but it is not a fake. That is, it does not have phony logos or come in a box claiming to be the real $300 thing. The vendor says the blade is 440C, which is okay at the price. Construction is pretty good.Carbon fiber scales are real woven carbon fiber, nicely machined and finished. I can barely make them flex in the middle with both hands. A+ on this.Blade is fine, a subtle stonewashed finish. Centering was perfect. The blade pivots on ball bearings in nylon carriers, acceptable at this price point. Could probably replace with bronze washers. It does not have machined bearing races.Non-serious flaws: pivot screw was loose and had no threadlock. Blade was only semi-sharp. One of the mid-handle screws was longer than the other, visibly sticking out inside the knife but not hitting the blade. The bearings had some grit and there appeared to be tiny brass pieces in the grit, possibly from the brass pocket clip inserts in the scales. My sample had one more serious flaw, which is that one of the back spacer screws had stripped threads. The holes are tapped all the way through, and tightening one of the screws down too far before installing the other could prevent it from getting more than one or two threads in. I swapped screws around and got it to hold, but it's not holding by much. More than it was originally, though. I'll check with the vendor on a new back spacer.People who do not check a new knife for issues like missing threadlock might have trouble with this knife. As for me, I like it.

Lightweight and attractive everyday carry
This is an attractive lightweight pocket knife. It has a carbon fiber handle (or at least a carbon fiber surface) which is light and strong and, to me, looks great. The blade shape is useful, and the steel 440C is better than what most folks really need in a pocket knife. It uses the axis lock type of locking mechanism which is my favorite of all the locking types. Its color scheme gives it visual appeal. The knife has no metal liner, relying on the handle materials directly, which is one of the ways the knife saves weight. That could conceivably be somewhat less sturdy in heavy use. It's a trade-off, but one I favor for every day carry where weight-in-pocket/comfort-to-carry is for me one of the most important factors. I'm not a heavy user, basically using my knife for opeing packages, cutting ropes and strings, and cutting food here and there as needed. The pocket clip allows the folded knife to ride low. I believe this is a knock-off of another knife that I don't own so I can't comment on that other than to say if it follows the design of a different excellent knife, I don't see that as a problem so long as they are not deceptive about what they are offering. Overall I'd recommend this knife for EDC for all but the most heavy users.
