Very funny and made great present for my daughter as she is so like the character

Absolutely in love with this book! I love the characters and the little skits.What I did not expect is that it is less of a cartoon book and more of a collection of one off stories from the author's collumn. Still great!

Wonderful tales of beautful funny Goth

first volume collecting nemi, a cartoon strip from norway that runs in metro, the daily free newspaper given out at tube stations in london and several other places. The story of a feisty plain speaking goth girl and how she deals with everday situations. usually by saying the things we'd all love to say but don't! Thus it's very funny indeed and a cartoon I'm very fond of.This volume is 140 [approx] pages long, and collects lots of nemi strips. most are the three panel ones from the daily paper, but there are also some longer ones that won't be familiar to metro readers. the book also contains an introduction from the cartoonist who does the strip, and a short interview with her.A great collection for a great cartoon. Hope there's a volume two

I've always loved Nemi from the first time i rwad the Metro newspaper. This book is wonderful. Some jokes aren't necessarily for kids (I'd rate it 12a in places )but it's still utterly charming and funny.
