Lots of information
This book was excellent. I was an altar boy and studied to become a priest but Viet Nam came along and things changed. But spent lots of time in the far east and Catholicism was everywhere but the various peoples still had their gods to believe in as well. So at the time it confused me but in the last 50 years I studied the Bible and found out things and This book filled in where the Bible left off so to speak. The only things I found that were negative was the size of the print made it hard to read and the footnote references cause a lot of jumping around. I am down to the last 20 pages and it is very informative and other than the size of the print I recommend this book.

Interesting, although a little out of date...
The proposal that the rituals and forms of worship in Christendom originate from Babylon religion is interesting and thought provoking. The obvious contentions relating to Christmas, The Virgin Mother, and the ritual of Easter are explored with the usual arguments and a very hearty attempt to link it all back to Babylon. This is not an easy read, but one that you may want to study instead as Hislop slaloms through the convolution of Christendom's belief and ritual. There are many things that have proven untrue or inaccurate with the advancement of knowledge, but many elements of his theory still does stand to up to scrutiny. One may differ on the exact details he proposes, but the principle of what he is attempting to demonstrate can't easily be dismissedWorth a read if you're interested in Bible history or religious history and want something more 'conspiratorial' to dig into.

Don’t mess around...get this book now!
It’s a cracking read, and although Hislop has fallen out of favour these days, and indeed some of his facts and data have subsequently proved to be erroneous (not purposefully so, but he was a man and scholar of his time), nonetheless the central thesis of his work is undeniably clear. Whether you agree or not is, of course, a totally different matter.I got the kindle version, it’s a perfectly adequate edition with no major probs as far as I can see. It is an absolute bargain at the kindle price and well worth having in one’s library.I don’t say this about many authors of books on my shelf, but Hislop is a man I wish I could have met with. The conversation would have been brilliant!

Digital print copy of Two Babylons
feel I have to say that the print of this book was far too small to make comfortable reading...not a good digital design in my opinion and the the size of the book is too big...would have preferred to have a larger font size and even though would be more cost thanks

Eye-opener
'The Two Babylons' is a very informative book, revealing the origins of many supposedly Christian beliefs and practices, such as the 'Trinity', the cross & the halo, and of the vestments and titles of clergy. A small criticism of this particular edition is that the pictures are often in groups divorced from the text which they're intended to illustrate and support.

Very Tiny Print
This book is impossible to read. Fine print, halved onto 1 page, so you have 2x vertical columns & terrible to read. Impossible, my eyes can't take this tiny print for reading.
