APEMAN Action Camera Waterproof Floating Hand Grip Selfie Stick for Action Cam with Adjustable Wrist Strap and Screw

Bought this for a snorkelling trip to the Maldives.Was OK for the 1st few swims, then climbing the ladder to get back into the boat the stick came apart - all I had on my wrist was the strap and the base of the stick it was attached too. Luckily for me the diver behind caught the camera before it disappeared into the deep blue.After that, although I reattached the base to the stick it would fill with water as soon as I dived, but as it was strapped to my wrist was OK.Then, on the boat, just after a dive, the thin piece of thread attaching the strap to the stick snapped - if it had happened in the sea, once again my camera would have gone AWOL.I reattached the stick to a spare piece of cord, but just before my last dive (after one week of use) the stick again came apart, bottom piece from top, and I couldn't risk using it again.So it lasted less than one week! Cheap and badly made from shoddy materials.

Bought this at the last minute via Prime delivery, just before going on hols to Corfu. Got it delivered to an Amazon locker- perfect and hassle free method of delivery. Packaging was reasonable and the handle was well protected.It was dad my apeman camera, as I didn’t want it to sink and have to recover it when dropped as I experienced in Zante last year.It fits perfectly and screws on with no hassle, comes with a spare strap.Most importantly though it works fantastically, my camera floats and was easy spotted when I needed to let it go from time to time.Cheers

The grip is fine the problem is the strap.It broke within 15 mins of testing it on the beach. I wasn't swinging it around or doing anything "action". it was a literal paddle on the shore line and the strap snapped when I put the grip and camera under water on a calm sea and a fine evening.How it would fare going down water sides or surfing is a puzzler

This floating handle is a very useful accessory for your action camera. Brightly coloured in yellow, this is very easy to see floating on the water surface if dropped in water. The rubber grip and adjustable wrist tie allow you the keep hold of your camera quite easily if your on a boat/jet-ski. Allows for steady holding of camera while shooting video.The bottom does not unscrew to allow storage of money/keys, only feature missing from a good overall product

Looking forward to using it snorkelling in Jamacia next week, we have only had a play around with it so far, but pictures look good, easy to set up and will be great fun.Really quick delivery and great service.

Great waterproof floating unit, no leaks, taken to depths and super lightweight/floats every time!

Very solid and appears really well made and robust... looking forward to testing it fully diving in Maldives soon
