Update: After a few days the smell is gone. I did not take it outside like some of the other reviews mentioned, I just left it in my son’s room and today there was no smell.Love this!! It was super easy to put together. I did it by myself and it took about 20 minutes. The book case is sturdy and fits most books. My son had two tall books that would not fit upright so I just laid them down. It does have a smell but I didn’t smell it until after I had assembled everything and left the room then came back. Overall this is a great book shelf that will last a long time!

I liked how easy it was to assemble and I love how they look in my kids room.

It is a tad lightweight so anchoring it to the wall maybe necessary for some. Fairly easy and quick to put together. Maybe about 30min. I think it’s about a $30 bookshelf. But I’m tired of searching and settled. Definitely not a high quality shelf but gets the job done for a few books. I wouldn’t overload it with stuff.

I purchased this to display my 7 year old’s legos that he’s built. I was very pleasantly surprised all around. It was very easy to assemble. It’s very sturdy (I’m not sure what other reviewers are talking about it bowing or being flimsy?). It is made of decently thick, good weight boards. There is a very very faint paint smell that some other reviewers call a strong persistent chemical smell. It’s honestly more faint than if you were to paint it yourself. My son has moderate asthma and I’m not worried about the smell (it is that faint). I would highly recommend this, ESPECIALLY for this price! Buy it!

The media could not be loaded.  Love the shelf! I thought about purchasing it for way too long comparing it to other shelves on Amazon and I am so glad I got this finally. It is just the right height and depth for a small child. All of her stuffed animals fit perfectly for her to grab one at any time it’s not too deep. Very sturdy I do not see my daughter pulling this on herself but I’ll still fold it to the wall anyway. Highly recommended. Note: it does take two people to assemble so don’t try to do it by yourself.

We used this for our daughter’s nursery. It’s the perfect size for children books but will also hold other items. It was easy to assemble. There was a paint smell like others here mentioned, but it aired out after a few days, so I would recommend assembling before baby gets here (which we did) or letting it sit out a few days before putting it in the room you’re using it for.

I was skeptical that this bookshelf could support all of the books however I am pleasantly surprised. Not only is this bookshelf aesthetically appealing it is also really affordable. A good buy.

Great so far. Only thing was there was a chemical smell to the bookshelf but just aired it out a few days and it's been fine.

Very solid bookshelf. Super easy to assemble. Still airing it out because of the chemical smell - day 3. Excited to get this into the room once the smell dissipates.

This is a great book shelf for a kids bedroom or rec room. It is very solid and looks good. It is however, a bit tricky to build for one person, so I recommend 2 people building it.

Sturdy, good quality, and worth the price.
