Just what was needed!
As described. Excellent. This was a hard to find part so I’m grateful I was able to buy it here.

10 Watts might mean 9.5 Watts
I purchased a handful of these to keep plugged into my radios when they're not connected to an antenna so that if I had a bone-head moment and accidentally started transmitting there would be an extra layer of protection. When I got them, I immediately tested one by sticking it on my Yaesu-857d set at 10W and keying down on CW. The SWR was spot on 1:1 for several seconds but then, slowly at first, it drifted up to infinity and stayed there. I reckon I burned that one out. I wouldn't depend on these for any major testing. It'll burn out after less than a minute at its rated power and undoubtedly much faster if you exceed the rated power.

Does what it is designed to do
I bought this for a small Yaesu radio which has a front and back antenna connection (model #FT-818ND) in order to keep from accidentally transmitting on the unused antenna output. This dummy load is only rated at 10 watts, so it was a perfect fit for the Yaesu unit, which only has an output of 5-6 watts. This device does what it was intended for. Would buy again !

As Expected
Compared to my other higher capacity dummy loads it is a cute little thing. Verified a smooth 50 ohm (47 ohm measured) impedance from DC to 570 MHz. I haven't verified the wattage capacity, however, based on my brief use, at least 5 watts for a number of minutes.
