I normally take multivitamins but I'm really not sure if they are that helpful at all. I just take it just in case my body needs something that I'm lacking from my regular diet. I honestly don't see any difference if I take them or not. This is the same for the Twinlab brand B12 vitamin supplement tabs. The tiny little tablets are about the size of half a TicTac. Pop one in your mouth once a day and let it dissolve on your tongue. The label says it is quick dissolving but I found that wasn't the case, It took a long time with a lot of saliva in order to melt this tab. You could bite it and grind it with your teeth if you want to make it absorb faster. The tabs are supposed to be cherry flavor but I didn't taste anything like that. To me, it just tasted powdery. As for the effectiveness of the B12 vitamin, I'm not really sure if I'm getting more energy or not.. I honestly can't tell the difference. I still feel the same after taking the tabs a few days. I guess maybe this could be a long term thing where you wait and see?

I kinda expected at least a little boost after taking one of these fast-absorbing high-potency B-12 vitamins. Alas—no! Not a kick, not a jolt, not even a bump or nudge. Bummer. But B12, is a vitamin that supports your natural energy production throughout the day, and offers immune support by aiding in maintaining already healthy levels of red blood cells. So really long-term vs. short. You take just one of these tiny 500 mcg B-12 supplement tablets—they're called melting dots—daily, allowing them to dissolve under your tongue. Kinda fun. They're mildly cherry flavored. I can't honestly tell whether they're doing much in terms of boosting my overall energy—maybe, but while I'm feeling more lively and energetic, that could also be due to the fact I'm starting to believe spring has really and truly arrived hereabouts…FINALLY! At least it hasn't snowed in over a week. However, B-12 is a real powerhouse vitamin, worthwhile, and this is a clean formula and a good dosage.

I don't have an official B12 deficiency and didn't expect these to do much for me as far as energy. I take a B supplement normally but have recently read that sometimes it's difficult to absorb it through the gut and using it sublingually allows for better absorption.The pills are tiny. They are a little chunky and chalky when they dissolve, and the cherry flavor isn't really anything spectacular. It takes about five minutes to dissolve under the tongue. But within about 20 minutes of dissolving one, my energy level literally skyrocketed. Never had I had such a boost of clean, non-jittery energy from a supplement in my life.I made the mistake of taking another one later in the day and it made me nauseous. Too much B12 can cause headache, fatigue and stomach upset, and I gave myself a bit too much, so I waited a day before having another. Same results as the first day - a very fast boost of energy that didn't feel like I'd drank a ton coffee. Keeping it to one a day, or one every other day produces a lovely, sustained energy that can get me through the afternoon slump with ease.I'm an absolute fan of this magical energy juju. At the price, it's hard to beat - these can easily last a normal working couple a year. I'll be buying them again when we run out.
