Trained my great pyrenees
I opened the box and read the directions. I tested each setting first. My 9 month old puppy was not a fan of hearing the shock come from it. She was barking every night for hours. Big dog, big bark. All the neighborhood dogs would bark with her. We had to do something. She needed to learn when it was appropriate to bark and when she just needed to settle in. So I put the collar on her without the shock level on. She honestly barked that night one time...and she stopped. She felt the vibration and that was it. Then we tried it when we take her outside to do her business because she barked at everyone and everything. As soon as we put the collar on her, the barking stopped. Now I haven't been consistent with it since, because barking is their way to communicate, I just wanted her to learn when it was okay to bark and this worked for what we needed. She still barks outside, but not nearly as much. And only barks for about 30 seconds to a minute at night. I'm okay with that. My only complaint would be battery life. It did not last as long as I would have hoped. But it did work long enough to work for me.

Worked great, make sure to tighten it so your dog doesn't let lose a violent vengeance against it.
When we first got our puppy she would always bark all through the night when she was in her crate, this collar worked for a while and came in handy when we took her to my wife's family for Thanksgiving week when we had to put her in the crate while we were in the kitchen so she wouldn't RKO my wife's grandmother and we didn't have to hear her sing the song of her people. It worked for a while until she decided she had enough and (probably) did an anime-style montage where she trained to become stronger than it. She is a larger puppy (roughly 30 pounds) when we got her, so I'm not sure if the vibrating wasn't strong enough to keep her quiet consistently, and my wife and I didn't want to use the shock feature. It would work on and off, but eventually, she was able to bite it off and chew it up either due to it not being tight enough or somehow getting loose enough for her to get her jaw over it. Luckily she doesn't bark at night anymore.I'd recommend using this on smaller dogs as the vibrate didn't seem to work on the puppy as much when she got older, but the shock feature might work better if that's something you're looking to use.

Work well on my Jack Russell
All I need is the vibration on and it’s enough for my Jack Russell to know not to bark. Battery life is good too and it was an easy set up.

Great to use on a walk with a yappy pup
Use this for our Icelandic Sheepdog puppy who is very vocal during walks, yaps in the kennel and likes to try and control the outside while standing at the window. This collar has been a lifesaver to reduce the amount of sass he gives during the day at home and during walks. It allows him to take a second thought before barking and to listen to what I am directing him to do.Con: He is currently between sizes so the stock length given was too small and we had to use the extra straps in to box but they are a little loose when they are tightened all the way.Overall, pretty happy with this purchase.

Nice collar
I really like the functionality of this collar. It has great settings and long battery life. My only complaint is that my dog was able to get it of several times by popping the clip. Other than that it worked exactly as it should and I highly recommend.

Not Bad
We purchased two of these collars for our dogs. One works great, the other does not work. We aren't sure if it's the dog that isn't receptive to it or the collar itself not working. We will likely switch them to see what the problem is but either way- it does seem to work on one of the dogs. One thing that we have an issue with is when the other dog is barking (since theirs is not working), it sends the vibrations off on the dogs collar who is not barking which makes me feel awful. We will probably not use these much longer if we can't figure out what the issue is with the 2nd collar.

Great Collar for the Money
Purchased this collar a few months ago for my dog. It's a great collar for the money. It's smaller than other collars I've ordered which was nice, it was a lot less bulky and heavy. I appreciated the metal prongs to get under the long fur, however they didn't work great because our dog has a big thick coat. I think the best course of action to make it useful is to actually shave that part of his fur, we have yet to try that. I like that it has a beep feature so even if it doesn't zap him as hard as I'd like he hears the beep which seems to be working for now. The battery lasts, good design. Overall I think I would purchase it again, but may not be the best collar if you're looking for something reliable for a long thick coat.

Dual purpose Collar
This product was purchased for an American Eskimo that tends to bark at everyone and anything! The collar itself was easy to put together with the screws and rubber caps keeping everything in place. There are options for either vibration or shock . The whole device works on barking and movement . We always keep vibration mode on and there is a setting for sensitivity. We have noticed that when the dog is playing and another dog is close by, the device will vibrate by the other dogs bark. This is somewhat annoying as it may not be the correct time for the vibration. The shock setting was tested on myself before the dog and we found it may be a strong stimulus so we have not used it .Overall the product does the job it was sold as, and battery life has been great as we turn it off when not in use.
