This is a good quality nail polish from Essie with a fun back to the 90s retro theme (Mixtaupe, Saved by the Bell etc). The Knee High Life polish is a deep wine colour that applies easily with a good sized brush and deepens in colour with added layers. It dries quickly and has a lovely gloss. It lasts well, no chipping and is easy to remove. If you like the colour range, this nail polish can't be faulted.

High quality product with a bold colour. Applies smoothly and evenly. Two coats, finished between coats under an LED lamp and finished with a similarly-branded topcoat, give a professional-looking finish that lasts for the majority of the week. Doesn't chip off easily. Removes fine with soaked foils, with little to no staining on the nail with the right prep.

Gorgeous dark purple that is almost black with blue green iridescent streaks in some lights - applies smoothly, needs a couple of coats to make the most of the colour. High gloss but even with a top coat I don't get more than a couple of days wear from Essie polishes.

Gorgeous colour Essie nail polish. Applies easily and dries quickly. I would recommend applying 2 thin coats and then a top coat to achieve the best wear. No nail varnish lasts that long on natural nails but I do find Essie nail polish to be one of the best.

This is a very deep purple colour, with a slight sparkle to it. Perfect for the party season. Reasonably priced, and pretty good staying power too.

Essie is a good nail varnish brand so i had high expectations for this varnish.Pros- nice brush- brush gets smaller nails in one stroke- brush has curved bottom so gets right into all the corners of your nail- picture shows one coat of vanish, one coat actually gives goods coverage- colour is a nice deep pink/magenta- lasts well (im clumsy so varnish never lasts that long on me but i did manage to go all night without chipping it!)Cons- prefer shorter wider brushes!

I really liked the colour of this although I disagree with the product description that it's "Deep wine red with purple undertones" as when I applied it, it came out as a dark pink (which I really liked and thought looked good on my nails). The brush is slim but good quality and the polish goes on very smoothly. The only real issue is that I found it only lasted a couple of days max before starting to chip off so you'll need a top coat if you want it to last longer.
