I had been searching for this type of 'Quality' butchers string for ages. Had two attempts to purchase proper butchers string from Amazon only to find thin, weak string being delivered. Thank goodness for Henry Winning Twine, established in 1880. This is who makes the Twine I purchased, supplied via Butchers Sundries, another good reputable company. If you want a proper, string that is multipurpose this is the only one. It has a minimum break load of 50 kg, and will not cut through your joint if you are using it to tie meat using a 'butchers knot'. I bought this for my macramé work l am using it to make 2 lampshades and so far it is brilliant l find it produces a lovely knot as it is rayon and the twine hangs straighter than cotton twine, so vey pleased

I had run out of my last roll of butchers string, so very pleased to find this at such a good price on Amazon. The string is ideal for tying up joints or boned meat such as boned and rolled turkey.

The butchers string does exactly what it's supposed to and it is thick enough to make it very easy to use and not cut into the meat too much.

Very good string esp. for tying up meat etc. (I used to be in the meat trade) It is also a good all rounder and can be used for many uses.

I used itfor threading bunting for a wedding. It was good and strong but did come unravelled during threading.

you would not think there copuld be much difference between string for cooking but there is. this is by far the best butchers string i have tried. good price and fast delivery. i wont be looking anywhere else for string in future. it has to be this.

a very large ball of string; i bought it to hang up nuts for the birds,and i dont think i will ever need to buy another one. being in a cylinder it stays put, at least it has so far, and doesnt unravel the way a ball of string does.
