Hustle : Complete BBC Series 2 [2004] [DVD] [2005]

Much admired for both writing and ingenuity, Hustle is one of the best to found among the TV schedules. Worth watching again and again. When cast-list necessarily changed over time, the quality of the acting remained consistent. When you are trying to find something worth watching throughout the miriad options, it's reassuraing to have a Hustle episode at hand to fill the gap.

This is as good, if not better, than the first series. The episodes with Stacie's ex-husband and the episode with Fay Ripley are stand-outs. The only episode I wasn't keen on was an episode where they fooled an ex-gangster into believing his long lost son had found him. I felt a bit sorry for The Mark in that case!!! But all of the other episodes are great.

Great series seen it when it came out very clever it just gets better and better

As for my review of Hustle series 1 I also missed series 2 when it was first broadcast. I was hesitant to order because of some of the earlier reviews but I enjoyed the later series so much I had to give it a try. Was I glad? Too right, so much so that series 4 and 5 are already ordered. If you like fast paced tv drama with a twist don't miss it!

This season is still of a high standard, although it lacks the va-va-voom of the first one. There are many more holes in the episodes, most notably the second episode; where if it had anymore holes in it, you could strain tea. However, despite that particular weak episode the others are beautifully crafted. The most stunning of which was by-far the theft of the Royal Family's Crown Jewels. The cons are more elaborate, and the characters are developed much further than before. A welcome addition to anyone's DVD collection.

One of my favourite shows but at the moment it's not working I have no idea why I need a reason from Amazon prime !!!!!!

A great series. Three dimensional interesting characters that learn to live with each other like a family. I like that they help each other and friends against the power hungry. This season seems to expand the characters and seems even more complex than last.

Im stil von Der Clou betrügen diese Meister ihrer Klasse weiter unehrliche "Patienten".Ich bin einige Serien und dabei auch wirklich gute Serien gewöhnt deswegen war ich nach dem ersten teil der ersten Staffeletwas enttäuscht, aber ich kann jedem der ähnliche start schwierigkeiten hatte nur raten zuzugreifen.Die Serie entwickelt sich und das äußerst positiv.die Handlungen sind äußerst Spannend und intelligent gemacht.Der einzige Schwachpunkt dieser Staffel ist der den Jede Staffel von Hustle hat und das ist die länge von nur 6 FolgenVielleicht ist es hierbei wie bei den portionen in einem guten Restaurant, dennoch hätte es sicher nicht geschadet 10-12 Folgen in einer Staffelzu verbauen.Trotzdem absolute Empfehlunggutes Englisches pandent zu Leverage.

Disk one wouldn't play properly and theres only six episodes to this season so thats half of the season that I couldn't see.I tried it on two different players to be sure.very disappointed.

Habe bisher die ersten beiden Staffel geschaut und fühle mich, trotz immer wieder gleichem Schema, gut unterhalten. Werde diese Serie weiter schauen und bin gespannt ob sich noch was ändert.Die fünf "Gauner" haben ihren Ehrenkodex und bedienen sich nur an Leute die es verdienen, weil sie z.B. einfach zu gierig sind. Wer z.B. wie in dieser Staffel, eine alte Frau übers Ohr legt, der muß sich nicht wundern selber reingelegt zu werden.Mir gefällt auch, das der Zuschauer gelegentlich mit einbezogen wird. Das Pokerspiel wird erklärt und auch der ein oder andere Blick richtet sich an den Zuschauer.Fazit: Super und Preis/Leistung einfach gut

The acting is great, the writing is the best there is, the set production, editing, everything about this series is flawless. You will never catch a collar buttoned in one scene and unbuttoned the next. Most importantly, I'm sombody who always, always knows the plot ending before it happens, but Hustle has surprised me, delightfully, more than once. The stories always make sense. They simply take you on an enjoyable little trip to the Hustle players' world, where none of your everyday problems exist.
