these buttons are definitely craft buttons and although wood, they are a little flimsy as my sewing machine went straight through the wooden bit in the middle. But it gives nice effects, I used it on bunting and to cheer up an old cardigan.

gardening jumper
I used these buttons for my grandsons 'gardening ' jumper. I knitted a flower with which I sewed on and then put random butterflies, flowers, leaves etc on front and back. He loves it.
