Wooden Cribbage Board with Playing Cards Sey, Family Travel Game Set

I've been looking for something similar at a low price for ages. Found this and really impressed! The board is made of good quality stuff, the pegs are a little brittle but hardy enough if you're careful. I've used mine almost daily with a friend of mine that likes to play dominos and no casualtys yet....except me lol. Very good.

Compact and easy to use, with cards and markers

My husband has played this for years so took the opportunity to teach me the basics to see if I would get a taste for it. It does not seem my sort of game though. I play a lot of whist and bridge. When travelling this set is not ideal, if moving about it can be hard to put the markers in the tiny holes, or even get the right hole, and you you would need to find a way to keep the cards still and not liable to fly off if you are in a moving vehicle. I believe this to be a complicated game, too complicated for young kids to understand without a lot of monitoring and help along the way.

Good value seeing you get metal coloured pegs and a pack of cards as well. The board folds over OK and serves its purpose for cribbage or dominoes (5s and 3s). Don't expect high quality though. The hinge rattles a bit; the two halves are stained differently, it is not an even all over dark colour as pictured. The rows of holes are not perfectly straight but they'll do (as long as that sort of thing doesn't annoy you).The pegs are not a very tight fit so they can jump out if you are moving or knock the board. Note that the cards do not fit inside the folded board as you may think. they come separate so don't throw the box away. Some reviewers have mentioned the small size but I actually like the compactness. See the image for the difference in the colour and the holes at an angle, particularly the left half, and how some of the pegs are not fully vertical

Cheap, so didn’t expect much but the scoring holes aren’t spaced in fives as is always the case on crib boards and this makes scoring less straightforward, that is you have to count each point rather than in multiples of five. Will probably draw some lines on it.Also, you pay for cards that you’re unlikely to use much as they’re understandably cheap and poor quality.Still, on the plus side the board is very compact and easy to carry, and if you lose it you won’t be too upset.

It's a crib board and does exactly that. Everything is there so you can play crib immediately. Don't expect an heirloom but it's value for money.
