This is my first foray into storage bags, and I'm very much happy with the purchase. I purchased the variety pack which contains 1 Maxi, 2 L and 2 Meduim bags.The likesThe bags are made of good quality plastic, which looks and feels durable.The seals are very tight and there is no leakage after seaking.Was able to compress a queen sized comforter, 5 double fleece blankets and a single fleece blanket inside the maxi.Could have been betterThe pump provided is not effective, it will take lot of effort to pump out the air when you are using several items to store. At best can be used to top off. I'd recommend using a vacuum cleaner to pull out the air.Overall very impressed, will have to see if this retains the same form after prolonged use.

Having bought cheaper vacuum bags previously, which subsequently leaked on second use, I decided to spend a bit more and get the Genie Space bags.Straight away I could feel the difference. The plastic is thicker and a lot more flexible. The quality feels much better. The seal feels more sturdy too.I have a commercial vacuum pump and meter here and I was able to make a physical comparison between the level of vacuum the different bags could maintain. The Genie Space bags can hold more vacuum than other bags I have tried (I have not tried every brand of course)To be honest, two of the bags split. One at the seam and one at the seal. I normally would have just not bothered with that brand again. However, I saw on the box that the manufacturer offered a warranty. So I tried them thinking I would get no response. To my surprise, they replied to me immediately and were very friendly and polite. They put the situation right and more than to my satisfaction within a few days.To me, it looks like businesses can really prove how good they are when things go wrong. In this case I cannot fault Genie Space in any way and will always use this product in future because I know they stand behind their own product 100%

Apparently, now every breath of air has been sucked out of my spare pillows and duvets, the spiders and tigers and bears can't get to them. Of course, when I next need the pillows and duvets, I'll forget where I've put them. But that's not the product's fault. That's mine. I accept full responsibility for focusing on other things. These are great. Buy these.

Have purchased vacuum bags for many years. Normally around 2/3 of this price. Have done the job reasonably. But as am very short on space for a move decided to spend extra especially for the so called added thickness (and thus less air excretion). Def not worth it. One came with a split in the plastic. Another my (short) nail tore it. And definitely do not decrease space by 80 PC. If I wasn't going abroad imminently would have returned. ON the plus side, the maxis are a good size, and the 'bung' is easier to fit than others before air leaks out, but as the zipper is exactly the same as the cheaper ones, and the bungs no good if bags arrive either with a hole in them or so easily damaged by a finger nail, definitely not worth the extra. Could have achieved the same result with a dustbin bag (which is what they will end up as)

I bought this product as it had so many good reviews. Be warned....I have bought 2 packets of these bags and they all re-inflate within an hour. I know i am not doing anything wrong as I have used other makes in the past with no problems. when you open the packet you will think that these are a good robust product. maybe I HAVE BEEN UNLUCKY and have bought a bad batch but my experience with this product is not good

overall a good quality product. There is sufficient capacity in the bags - I have used one to sort a range of soft toys including a large teddy and all went well. The bags reduce down well, however I've used the hoover rather than the pump provided. I tried the pump but it was taking to long. Some of the bags have re-inflated - so not sure if I'm not sealing them properly which can be frustrating. Overall I would recommend them - the multi packs seem better value for money and enable more choice of use
