Excellent
Great for bringing your knifes edge back after it’s starting to feel dull, it’s a much higher grit then a regular steel which is better for the edge of your knife, my only issue is I wish they made a 14 inch model as oppose to the 12

Absolutely crap .
In less than a week the ceramic has rubbed off . It must be a manufacturing problem I’ve had many different steels my last ceramic broke so that what made me fancy an unbreakable one . Bad call aluminium core is completely exposed to the point now I can no longer use it on the line. Waste of money also a waste of my time I will be requesting a refund as I know this has happened to others. Will last years my yeh okay

Do not buy this item, especially from Cotellio Italy as they offer no help!
Terrible, rod came apart from holder, waited over a month on delivery from Cotellio store Italy and communication was non existent! The stick was clearly used but didn't want hassle of sending back! First use the ceramic coating came away and chipped!! Questionable authenticity! Very very poor product! If this is DMT trying their hand at ceramic then stick to what you do best, the diamond rods are second to none. I have them now instead! Ceramic was binned long ago...
