mCover Case Compatible ONLY for 2021～2022 14" Dell Latitude 7420 7430 Laptop or 2-in-1 Windows Notebook Computer (NOT Fitting Any Other Dell Models) - Black

Unlike many of the reviewers of this particular mCover case, I actually made sure that the exact year, model, and size of my work laptop matched the specs of this case. And it fits perfectly! Snaps on snugly and securely without being *so* tight you can't remove it without cracking it, and it does the desired job of protecting my work-issued laptop from scratches, dings, and drops. Plus I can add stickers to it now 🥹My only gripe is the firmly-attached pen holder. I wish there was an option to order this case without the pen holder, but alas. It sticks out in such a way and with open edges that it catches on everything, so I will definitely be removing it somehow. Otherwise, this case is exactly what I needed. Unfortunately there are not many accessories available for the Dell Latitude 7430 14", so I'm very thankful that mCover does have one and that it fits, even if I'm going to have to saw off the pen holder.

I just bought the Dell Inspiron 14" 7420 2-in-1. This case DOES NOT FIT. It us like 1" too small in one direction and 1/2" too big in the other (see picture). Their plastic packaging says the right computer model (see picture), so just don't know how to measure when the make these.

Fits my 2022 Dell Latitude 14" 7420 2-in-1 well (the one with the black carbon fiber finish, not the metallic silver), but with some slight caveats.Pros: fits well on the laptop, works as advertised. Stays in place, microphones aren’t covered up or anything.Cons: the stylus holder is too short to hold my laptop’s stylus. Just remove the stylus holder altogether, please. Also, I had to use small side snips to remove some of the case where it covers the smart card slot since my work requires me to have a smart card present in my machine at all times. Maybe I could do the same for the stylus holder..

I purchased this without a lot of hesitation due to the reviews but this 100000% fits the DELL LATITUDE 7420 - I just put it on my laptop and it is perfect! I am so happy i took the chance. I think what people are messing up is there is a DELL ESPIRON 7420 this case will NOT fit that. The description clearly says DELL LATITUDE 7420. Thanks 5 star!

I have Dell Latitude 7420 and it snapped on perfectly, however, the smart card port is blocked which means that the case itself needs to be modified, plus that area has one of the clips to hold it on. Also, the stylus holder is annoying. This needs to be an optional piece because it is just not practical.My big issue is the smart card port and pretty disappointed that I will either have to take the bottom off or modify it to be used.

I got a Dell 14-inch 2-in-1 7430, and it was way to small, even though it says that it was made for this laptop. I was disappointed and will be returning this product.

The case went on very easily and allows access to the necessary ports! If I had any complaints, it would be that the laptop is kept from closing completely with the case installed (see my photo). It’s not a big deal to me however. The case looks sturdy enough, but I mostly wanted it as a surface to apply vendor stickers to instead of plastering up my employer’s asset. It fills that role, and adds a little protection!
