There are two reasons I assess this signalling mirror as one of the best I have ever used. First is the quality of the construction. The reflective surface is impressive. This mirror is sturdy and easy to handle. The second reason for my assessment is this mirror's size. Size matters when you are trying to reflect the maximum light onto searchers. I have used this mirror to attract the attention of search aircraft during training exercises and have been successful in every instance. If you are looking for an effective signalling mirror this is the one for you.

I'd been trained to use this kind of survival mirror when I was an Air Force pilot. I used this mirror to mark my position across the Lake of the Ozarks from where my daughter was situated, and it was EXACTLY what I needed. She was able to record videos of my position from different sites, and I got the location data I needed. Very pleased!

I like to shave in the shower. This mirror is perfect for that. Who knows; if I ever need to be rescued from the shower, I can always signal my wife.
