Good value for money
Love this powder. It’s ideal for making your own Edible Glue just use 1/4 teaspoon powder and about 3 tablespoons cooled boiled water. Mix well and leave in fridge. Any blobs of powder will dissolve after a short time. Also for adding to fondant to make flowers and models to ensure they hold their shape when dried. Pouch lasts for ages.

Keep in your store cupboard.
Came quickly. I used it to make my own sugar lace. Worked OK after some trial and error but that's the recipe rather than this product. Excellent for strengthening normal sugar paste to make models. I used about half a teaspoon to about 3 to 4 oz's of sugar paste and just kneeded it in. Worked a treat. I will not buy expensive modeling paste again. Keeps well in the packet in an automatic tight tin.

Great product, multiple uses!
I've so far used this to make edible glue and added to fondant to make it easier to work with in relation to silicone moulds and to create firmer modelled items. It's fantastic! Highly recommend to any caker, this is a large quantity so worth every penny.

Best Tylo/tylose I've tried
I have tried various tylo/ tylose powders and do find there is a difference in the quality. Some I find doesn't give me the finish I require when adding it to fondant to make a modeling paste..... Classikool CMC is the best I've found. Love it. My paste is always stretchy and flexible.. Tip 1: Add ½ teaspoon to 250g of fondant/sugarpaste for modeling. Wrap in clingfilm & a plastic bag and leave overnight. Kneed well before use until it stretches....Tip 2 Don't buy expensive edible glue... Get an empty bottle (large nail varnish size) fill ¾ with warm water and add tylose off the tip of a spoon. Shake well and leave a while. You will have unmixed powder at first, but it will devolve. If it's too thick top up the bottle with water & shake.. Always rinse your bottle before refilling

Useful tool
My wife being completely new to sugarcrafting asked me to purchase this product because all of the demos she'd watched had recommended its use. She tells me that what she's done with it so far seems to be working well but would have appreciated some very simple instructions on the back of the pack, i.e. how much you add of the tylose to certain quantities of icing when forming flowers etc., and the quantities of powder to water you need to turn it into food "glue". She looked it up on the internet but not everyone can do that and so believes instructions would be very helpful.
