your router must also be compatible with the stove wi-fi
This thing has been a nightmare. Installation was easy until you get to the part where you connect to the wi-fi. GE's phone system is an exercise in frustration but if you get a human they can be pretty helpful. Understand that I purchased this in November, received it after Christmas, and just now got it to connect to my phone's hot spot. I can't get it connected to my home network because it doesn't like my router. I need to contact my router manufacturer to figure out what setting to change. Think very long and hard about whether being connected to wi-fi is worth the headache.

Best range we have ever owned
So easy to install and set up to link with my network was a breeze. All settings are so easy to understand, and live how fast everything cooks! I've seen a decrease in my electric bill too. This has worked flawlessly for nearly a year. The only issue is the oven light is easy to turn on by accident, but can be turned off via the app on a smartphone. Wish the oven light would turn off automatically!!! Very easy to keep clean

Love this stove!
We've had this stove for about a month, and so far I have no complaints. Air fry feature is great, and crisps things up nicely. Boils water in minutes. The burners make a bit of a hum when on high, but not annoying. We were a little challenged setting up WIFi, but a GE technician came out within 24 hours and set it up for us.

installation very difficult, basic mechanical is poorly designed
I gave this only one star when it really is three. If you're like me, you don't read three star reviews. I read the one star first and then see if the 4 or 5 stars acknowledge the concern. I wanted you to read this one because I think the induction part is good and for you to be aware of the problems you'll encounter if you do buy this.Previously I bought and installed a GE induction cooktop (PHP9030DJBB) which my wife and I both found to be as good as gas for cooking while all the other features (easy clean, etc.) were far superior. I just got the range installed today and we had pizza this evening. Works great. If I have any complaints I'll let you know. But there was no thought put into the leveling process. First, the levelers are basically a screw that is screwed in to lower and out to raise. The head, which is turned, is the contact point for the floor. This results in scoring the floor. Second, you have to remove the drawer to get to the levelers. You have to reach all the way in to get to the back levelers and you're pretty much out of luck if you have short arms. Matters are made worse because the anti-tilt bracket (yes, you must install it to prevent catastrophes) covers one of the rear leveling screws. This means that you pull out the range a little bit, reach way back under the range, make the adjustment and push back in. Note, that one must be judicious about pushing back in because the back will ride up if you push to far. Once you get that leveler right, you can adjust the others. But, for those that have never leveled an appliance, adjusting the others puts the first one not quite right. So you repeat the process, slowly getting it all level. And the final insult to injury is that the levelers are made of a softish plastic the wears every time your turn it ... while drilling a hole in your floor, making the slide in and slide out more and more difficult. Here's the good news though, you take out the drawer to clean under the range. Oh, by the way, the clips that hold in the drawer are not like every other drawer of that style where you lift or push down the tab. These you push the tab in to unsnap them. Experienced people with this type of tab will tell you that it will eventually wear down and cease to keep the drawer from coming all the way out.

Mediocre quality for a lot of money
A couple of observations after using this unit for two months:1. The induction top surface is sensitive to damage, put a cast iron pan on it and it gets damaged. Who the genius designer was that decided that this was not acceptable on an induction top deserves to be fired.2. The some induction coils give of a buzzing sound, not all. This is manufacturing inconsistency typical for low end products.2. The oven light is in front. You turn it on, you open the door, and you are blinded - can't see a thing. Again, third rate designers, a freshman in college can design better than that.3. The air fry component is useless, do not be misled. You're just as well off using convection heat. Air fry makes no sense in an oven of that volume. Also the notion of no preheat also does not work - a gimmick.4. The broiler gives off a weird smell, it is fading, but I do not even know what toxic materials the manufacturers have used here.5. The controls are good, and the surface design is nice and easy to clean. The oven surface is also easy to clean.I would not buy this again. It's a Haier through and through, not GE. For slightly more money you can get a jenn air or bosch, do that.

Electronics are unreliable and like to fail and may not be repairable
I bought this range in October of 2021 from a local appliance retailer. I love induction cooktops you get better and faster precision cooking than gas or electric and it is much safer than both. Thank God I purchased the extended warranty that gave me 3 years coverage. In June of 2024 the cooktop stopped working. If I turned on any of the burners they would stay on for about 5 to 10 seconds then shut off. It turns out the this is a known problem and is essentially unrepairable to the extent that the warranty company is sending me a check for $2400 to replace the entire range. I started reading reviews from other appliance retailers on this stove and saw numerous other customers experienced this same problem which renders this otherwise beautiful appliance a useless pile of junk. I gave it 2 stars because when it was working it is fabulous but don't get used to it.

I love my new stove!! Update February 22, 2223: Burners quit working.
This stove cooks great, heats up fast and most importantly is fun!Update, 02/22/2023: The burners quit working. They turn on but shut off after a few seconds. Same goes for the non-induction warming burner. I'll update again once I contact the service department. I've had it less than a year so it should be under warranty.
