The lock is really good quality and sturdy it was an easy lock to install and had no problems with the lock out of the box.

As a previous review mentioned, the key cannot be removed unless in a specific vertical position. The latch can only fully extend by overturning the key so you have to turn it back slightly to remove it. Small problem. Still functional.Installation was simple. The measurements come with the product and is exactly as described.

Installed easily enough, been in the door for 2 months now, looking good and working perfectly.

it took some time for me to figure out what the issue was when i started looking at how to fit this lock. but i have figured it out.its no laughing matter to drill a 51 mm hole in your door so the provision of a template should make you feel at ease that someone took the time to make your life easier. however when you look at a measurement and can see that it isnt as specified in writing it causes you to wonder whats wrong. im an engineer and i spent at least an hour trying to figure why the template did not make the job easier and in the end went with my gut got the verniers out and assessed the lock and fitted it based on what i could see.the instructions and template for this product have been printed from a PDF and at some point the button to scale the pdf has been selected meaning the template is incorrectly scaled also.my concern came when a line it suggested was 35mm in length clearly wasnt. i could not drill a hole in my door not knowing whether it would be accurately placed so measured everything myself.in addition to this the screws provided were way too long for the standard door width which the lock claims to fit and i had to shorten them which isn't something anyone will wish to do or be able to do with the average diy tools and therefore this needs to be rectified or two screw lengths need to be provided or products created for different door widths. when i first fir the lock the screws nearly pushed the lock plate off and buckled the plate before I realised. I had to hammer the face plate back to a flush finish.quality wise the lock is of good build quality and as such i will change the rating for the product should someone contact me to assure me that they have verified the instructions provided have been verified for future customer use.the product is also economical so i can recommend but at this moment in time only if you are aware that you would be wise to measure the door yourself without the provided template and know that you will be able to perform the recommended modifications i have detailed above.Good luck

It would have been better if the receiving plate for the bolt were all metal rather than plastic as this would ensure the door frame is less likely to crack if the door is forced. Also... Having an internal narrower than 3.5cm I had to cut the fixing bolts and found that they were still slightly too long so the deformed the lock housing. My error but I state this for information on the materials used in the lock. A second set of shorter fixings would have been useful.

This is a great fitment for locking gates etc. Keyed from the front and turn-button at the back its really useful in the garden.

FYI - Very good product & quick delivery BUT no instructions or template for fitting. However, I contacted the seller and fitting instructions were sent within 24 hours also very useful to Google 'Deadbolt Installation Instructions' for templates and instructions & instruction videos

I have bought similar locks from other sellers in the recent past and used them without any problems. Screws supplied with this lock are too long for a 35mm door and they cannot be cut down to required size as they don’t have markings for cutting. It took me a lot longer to fit these unlike the other locks that I fitted this week. Also I had to fit them with spacers. I will be taking this out in a few days and replace it with a better lock. The template supplied with the lock is also wrong. Luckily I used common sense before drilling the hole.

Can I do half a star here? We needed to re-key this lock to work in combination with other deadbolts on the site. The locksmith called back later and said with a lock this cheap it wasn't possible. Get a Schlage he advised. So we did. We didn't even return to pick up the original lock but the Schlage ($60) worked perfectly and owner was happy!

Es perfecto si no quieres añadir manetas demasiado complejas con cerradura, con esta solo hay que hacer un agujero de lado a lado y otro en el canto para meter el pestillo. Es relativamente facil instalarlo pero se requiere alguna destreza con la madera. Yo no soy muy hábil con estas cosas y he conseguido ponerla, he necesitado taladro con broca para abrir agujeros en la madera, lo demás bastante sencillo, incluye unas pequeñas "llaves" que son destornillador plano y de cruz, no los he usado pero quería dejar el comentario. En general la recomiendo, es muy resistente y de funcionamiento muy facil. Las llaves son un poquito delgadas, parecen un poco frágiles, pesan poco y dan la sensación de ser más bien blanditas, espero no se partan, por si acaso haré copia con otras más resistentes.

Como un guante... practicos... pero delicados, se rajan o perforan con facilidad.
