Arpan Large White Wicker Laundry Basket With White Lining

Very attractive and nicely made , plus good value for money.

We're a family of 6 and we needed a couple of laundry baskets for the family bathroom. I spent a good deal of time looking in John Lewis etc but I couldn't find anything both large enough and simple and plain enough for the job with a removable lining, The large one is perfect for the family bathroom and can cope with 2 days of laundry for the children, typically 8 to 12 outfits (4 to 6 pairs of jeans) various tops, t shirts and jumpers etc plus underwear. We have another for whites/towels etc. The dimensions are accurate. The lining is fastened by four ties at the back but we only ever tie the outer two together as that is all that is needed to secure the lining bag in the basket. So all in all a good value, basic item that is exactly what we wanted.

Sturdy and good size. The odd wicker piece can break but it’s the same as my previous one. I use to keep my towels in in bathroom

I really like this as it fits great where I need it in my bathroom and holds a lot.However, the quality is questionable!!It keeps loosing bits of the wicker and I'm scared it's not going to last. I live on my own so it's not being handled daily by a family.If I need another might rethink purchasing elsewhere.

After fighting with my old laundry basket for what felt like the hundredth time (cheap bamboo put-it-together-yourself jobby!) I ordered this after searching through the hundreds Amazon has on offer. I was a bit sceptical, as some reviews said that the lid didn't fit properly or loosened over time, but I liked the size and construction of it, so I took the plunge.I needn't have been worried! It is sturdy, plenty of room for lots of laundry, looks good and will last us for years. As for the lid, yes it has loosened, but it isn't meant to close tight, it's meant to just sit; it's the "hinges" which loosen and that's a minor thing compared to anything else!If you're looking for a strong, sturdy laundry basket which looks good, then don't hesitate to buy this!

Love this product! Strong and well made. The fabric liner comes out for washing. It's cream rather than white, but looks attractive and there are none of the sharp edges other people have found. The lid is held on with fabric which does make it a bit 'floppy', but I think that adds to its rustic look. It holds much more laundry than the round basket I've had for years, and its shape means it fits perfectly into a corner. Can't fault it.

I am happy with this laundry basket. Looks neat and does the job.
