PRICEY BUT HELPED MY SENIOR CAT
I brought my 14 1/2 year old cat Bella to the emergency vet, preparing to have her put down. She's had hyperthyroidism for a few years but recently lost a lot of weight and stopped eating. She's on medication but even that didn't seem to be helping. She was skin and bones. The vet offered her a few treatments to see if they helped and recommended I try a different food (was giving her Sheba pate for years) and my sister found this amazing food and we tried it. Not only does Bella love it, she's OBSESSED with it! She literally licks the plate clean and then five minutes later is BEGGING FOR MORE. I even have to keep her 14 year old brother away from it! Her coat looks beautiful, she's putting weight on and I have no problem with getting her to eat. This is a wonderful, healthy food which has helped her so much. My only complaint is the high price, but I will alternate this with other less expensive high quality foods. It's so good to see her bounce back!!!!!!!!

Kitten approved
Both my kittens love this food. I found it has less additives than some of the other foods out there. I like that it's a gravy mixture.

Cat Loves It!
My finicky cats LOVE this food! This is after my returning more tried and rejected food than I'm embarrassed to say. They lick their bowls clean every time. Wow....it even looks and smells good.

Cat Throwing Up
Recently got another order of this and just started serving our cat the food and they throw up every time that they eat it.I want a refund for this order, clearly the batch is bad because he has eaten it before from other stores and hasn’t had issues.

Yummy!
While I did not personally taste test this product, Mango has assured me it is delicious! I loved seeing the large pieces of meats and different textures, and Mango was excited about that too. We both loved how even a small can somehow fits a ton of food! I kept asking her to look up to take a picture, and as you can see, she was too busy stuffing her face. My only negative comment is that this cat now screams at me every morning until I feed her.

Good ingredients, although my cats don't like it
While it might seem odd to give something four stars while acknowledging that my cats don't like it, I have raised a lot of cats in my 70+ years and I know that cats are nothing if not picky, and their tastes cannot be easily predicted.I rotate several canned foods in my cats' feeding regimen because I've found that this keeps them interested, particularly as they grow older. My last four cats lived into their mid-20s, with one of them coming within a few months of being 29 and, while they will eat the same kibble day after day, they quickly grow bored with the same canned food.In evaluating a canned cat food, the most important thing to me is the ingredient list. Letting a cat decide what it wants to eat is a bit like allowing your child to eat whatever he wants to eat. Consequently, the only choices that I give to my cats are those that are made from good ingredients. This has a lot to do with what's not in it, such as corn, soy, wheat, byproducts, gluten, and fillers, and the first ingredient or ingredients should be fish, fowl, or meat. The ingredient list for Stella & Chewy's Carnivore Cravings Tuna and Mackerel Recipe begins with Tuna, Tuna Broth, Mackerel, Sunflower Oil, and Tapioca, and concludes with a list of vitamins, minerals, and other ingredients that don't look scary to me.The bad part was that neither of my two cats would eat it. They wouldn't even taste it and, after the first couple of tries, they would walk away as soon as I opened the can. Now, I understand that for a lot of reviewers that would automatically result in a one or two-star rating. However, I am well aware that there are a lot of other good foods that my cats won't eat either. For that matter, I am told that broccoli is good for me, but I won't eat that either.I am sure that there are plenty of other cats who will happily eat this stuff and do well as a result. When my cats don't eat their canned food, I set it on the back porch for some strays or feral cats who come around. Fortunately for them, I try a lot of different foods that my cats don't like, so they do pretty well for themselves. As an added bonus, because my cats made it quite clear that they don't like this stuff, and I bought a case of it, they haven't had to wait around for the leftovers. They like it and, yes, there have been some premium cat foods that even the feral cats wouldn't eat.Seriously, this seems to be some good stuff. If your cat likes it, she should do well with it.
