Edward Hopper white dressing table, 8 drawers, metal runners, chrome handles, Partially Assembled

I'd previously ordered a shabby chic dressing table from a seller on a well known auction site. It turned up damaged, returned...ordered another the same... again delivered damaged. .. tried one more time and again it was badly handled and delivered damaged. I gave up and got a full refund and an apology. So I scoured amazon and found the Edward Hopper dressing table, not exactly what I was looking for, not shabby or vintage but it looked solid and dependable So....I ordered this item based on its excellent reviews and because it was white and I'm so glad I did. I am far from disappointed or making-do.From the start...I ordered on the 8th February and received an email the same day with a delivery date...To take place just 4 days later. The email contained contact number ... they're available from 7am-8pm weekdays and 8.30-5pm Saturdays. I received a follow up email on 10th Feb with a 2 hour time slot... brilliant.The delivery guys turned up on time...very happy smiley guys ..full of helpful info on how to assemble the unit... they're not from some random courier...they work for the furniture company so obviously have a vested interest in delivering intact undamaged goods.This product is delivered in 3 boxes... the 2 pedestals with drawers in a box each and the 3rd box contains the top..the screws..and the curved knee-hole decorative piece. All items arrived without a scratch..refreshing after previous experiences. Loads of polystyrene and careful handling secured safe delivery.Assembly....... this really is a one person job...even for someone as useless as I am at DIY but 2 people would secure a fast assembly. Instructions are clear... there are only 2 types of screws... 11 in total. .8 with washers. (All supplied)I only had a couple of worries during assembly ..first task is to attach the knee hole curve with 3 screws to the underneath of the top but there was only 1 pilot pin hole. Needn't have worried. ..the wood is soft and the cross point screws were driven in easily...fitting the top... aligning the dowels took a bit of time as I was alone and the top is wide and quite heavy and sitting it correctly on the 2 drawer units entailed manoeuvering the units with one hand at the same time as balancing the top... you'll see...The next 8 screws with washers were fitted quickly (using the allan key supplied) following the diagrams although you have to unscrew the panels on the back of the drawer units. ..one was stuck ..maybe with glue or paint, but a bit of exertion managed to free the thin panel without damaging it.No real problems.Everything fell into place and the result is one beautiful, sturdy, well made, good quality dressing table and one very proud lady.The 8 drawers are not deep, measuring approx 3.5 inches of usable depth. I managed to hide all make-up, straighteners, hairbrushes and lotions and potions, even an average sized hairdryer and all the usual essentials that adorn the average dressing table.I've removed the brushed steel knobs on 6 drawers and added crystal ones (I didn't have enough to replace all 8 but there's more on the way) and I've topped it with a 3 way mirror which was brought with the disastrous first second and third dressing table.The effect is lovely and I cannot fault the design, quality or price....its here to stay.Love my product. Very happy with email contact, delivery time and the delivery guys.Everybody's happy.

What can I say? Since months I have been looking for a dressing table to match our newly renovated Master bedroom and house. Finally, my search ended with this beautiful piece of furniture that truly is a masterpiece of craftsmanship. I simply love it and have a nice time getting ready with a trifold mirror and chair, both purchased separately.This is my quiet area for reading and as a desk if needed.Drawers are spacious and assembly is easy to follow. The fact that comes partially built is a bonus and it doesn’t take long. However, two people must do the job.Delivery was fantastic. Quite early but high praise to the company for their excellent service.I am so so happy.

I purchased this beautiful clean, simple white dresser plus the matching mirror and am so glad I did. I love it ! The dressing table has 8 drawers in total and they are a perfect size for all my bits and bobs. For the first time in my life, I have been able to organise my make up by drawer by drawer. I feel like such an organised person :-) There is alot of space on top although I like to keep it simple. There is so much space that I often place my Macbook and stand on one side for ease of access and there is still space between the laptop and my perfumes, trinkets and stuff on the other side.It was easy to assemble, I did it on my own and I'm pretty useless at stuff like this - so anyone can do it.It looks and feels robust, I hope it lasts a very long time as I really love it !

Looks good. Im happy with the buy but expected the material to be better. Costs alot so expected the material to be good but its overall its decent

Well worth the money!Delivered pre assembled which is always a plus, easy to attach dresser top to drawers if you follow instructions.Product is very sturdy and well made.White finish is not perfect in some areas but hey, it's a dresser and will likely get scratches, scrapes and spills anyway.I chose this dresser because it fits into the window recess of my room perfectly, it has loads of storage and because it's white you can add your own style around it. I.E what I've done with the mirror and stool.Would definitely recommend!

Unlike most furniture, this is mostly assembled. All you have to do is put the top on and the front bezel.I love the build of this, it has a frame! Its not just bits of MDF held together by dowels and stuff, this has a real frame!It also sports a gorgeous finish beautifully smooth.Packaging is truly first class, its in a stong box surrounded by more packaging with cling film to hold the protection in place, it has extra protection at the bottom and corner protectors too, so the chances of this arriving damaged are unlikely.I only wish I had seen this seller before I bought some other stuff!The picture makes it look quite small but it isnt, it has a very useful length for the top. My daughter loves it!So thank you Edward Hooper this is a lovely dressing table.

I bought this for my mum for Christmas. The product is nice and I would assume its easy to assemble as its in 3 pieces . However I expected the draws to soft close and I wasn't expecting it to be covered in this brown/yellow mould. It's a real shame. If you see it was made in 2017 and the cardboard being discoloured. Just return it straight away.

This item is wonderful and looks brilliant in my bedroom - it was slightly more difficult than I thought to assemble, but once completed, it is a wonderful and sturdy piece of furniture, slim for my narrow bedroom but with amble storage supplied by 6 drawers.I would like to make a special mention to the delivery drivers who came with this item, exactly at the time that the company had specified through phone contact and arranging a suitable option. These drivers and the company went beyond expectation. I would thoroughly recommend this company from the start to the end of ordering and receiving my lovely piece of furniture. Thank you. Catherine
