Not great
Thought this would be a good idea, but doesn’t sharpen very well. Had to buy new blades.

worked after adjustment
Purchased to sharpen Philips Aqua Touch Wet & Dry AT899 and there was little discernible difference after sharpening - cleaning the blades had as much effect. The problem appears to be the rubber sleeves over the rotating spindles which means that the diameter of the whole is too big for the hole in the guard of the sharpener. However, the idea appears to be sound so I propose to enlarge the hole with emery paper to see what happens. I imagine this will invalidate any guarantee but the thing is cheap enough to give it a go. You may yet see a further edited review depending upon how keen I am to tackle the job.Emery paper did not work but an inherited modellers rotary file did the job and the sharpener now works the result was noticeable but not amazing but would now increase score from three to four stars

Brilliant
When it arrived I thought it was faulty because I was expecting at least part to be abrasive. It isn't. You run your finger across the surface and it seems smooth. But by golly does it work well. Just ten seconds for each blade and they are like new. I found it very easy to use on my Philips and the blades are still cutting well after a few months.Fantastic value and the company was very good in dealing with my queries about the product. Top marks.

Product failed on third blade!
Arrived promptly. Instructions provided with the item were clear and easy to follow. Followed procedure to sharpen first two blades but when sharpening the third blade, the blade cut into the sharpening disc, which basically seems to be a very fine carborundum pad stuck onto a plastic pad. The edges of the carborundem was chewed up by the blade(s) and thereafter completely unusable. On reassembling the shaver (Philishave) I cannot honestly say that the (two) sharpened blades seemed any better than before. I returned the item and was given a refund. I might try sharpening the blades by hand on a fine oilstone?
