Did exactly what I needed it to - remove glue left on UPVC from Velcro strips used to attach a fly screen. Excellent stuff.

Works really well to remove Evo-Stick 528. The earlier you use it the better to remove unwanted glue and it seems to be the ONLY stuff capable of removing that glue. I'm also using it to thin down this glue to provide a first coat to absorbannt surfaces before glueing using a proper coat of glue to stick the surfaces together.Usual great Evo-Stik quality that works really well! You get what you pay for.

Gets dried-on glue(even carpet adhesive) off like nothing else. Difficult to remove metal stopper - but persevere, and return it ASAP to stop evaporation. I got ‘irremoveable’ glue from polished wood furniture today. It didn’t affect the wood at all but removed glue. Smells atrocious but always works. A good item to have in stock. I’ve used this for years. Used sparingly it lasts ages.

Unfortunately the product hasn't been successful in removing adhesive from a glass rear windscreen, which is the reason I purchased it.I am unable therefore to really make a proper assessment of it's capabilities.

Thought I was ordering just one tin and not 12 however this is a great product and cleans and degreases as I had hoped....

Who are all these people raving about this stuff because it does a great job of removing labels and stickers etc? Haven’t they heard of soapy water or white spirit? This stuff given its cost should be able to remove the proverbial you know what from the blanket. I bought it to help uplift some sheet vinyl which had been stuck (thankfully perimeter only) down to some tiled vinyl below. The combination of adhesive and jointing mesh tape was a web of gunk that Spiderman would have been happy to hang from! A decorator’s knife, rags and elbow grease proved the order of the day with white spirit providing the ‘lubrication’. The EVO-STIK adhesive cleaner didn’t even have anything more to offer when it came to cleaning adhesive residue from my Stanley knife and decorator’s knife so not sure why you would want to buy this stuff.It claims to also be able to remove wax so maybe I should try cleaning my ears out with it instead!

Im painting my kitchen cabinets but the trim at the top of the cuboards are all covered with a hard, plastic coating which will be a nightmare to prep and paint. I decided to take the covering off and was left with sticky, ugly bits of wood. Sanding did nothing apart from smear the glue around and ruin a perfectly good sanding disc 😏 Then I found this. Its perfect. I dont know what type of glue I removed - even though it had set it was still sticky and annoying, but this made light work of it all.It smells so strong - like acetone, so make sure you use it in a ventilated place.It works amazingly well - i used it to remove glue, but it also shines up stainless steel appliances pretty well too and can get your toaster looking brand new againIts a great price - cheaper than goo gone and a lot easier to useIts handy to have and I'm glad I bought it, you cant go wrong with this cleaner
