Great product.
I bought this while training as a professional baker/cake decorator; this has lasted me all through my training and it is brilliant - price and quality.Without going in to how it works, tylose powder when added to sugarpaste allows you to make a very strong and malleable modelling paste that is strong enough to hold it's shape and will dry hard - it creates something similar in consistency to a shop bought flower/modelling pastep this product is very good.I can't recommend this tylose powder enough, a small amount goes a long way; it is excellent value for money and I will be buying it again very soon.

Great stuff but you have to use trial and error ...
OMG what a difference this made ! I have found a new hobby making fondant cake toppers. Great stuff but you have to use trial and error to get right consistency to hold shape but not crack. Came quicker than I expected and as you only use a bit, plenty in pack. Only negative I have is that I had to go online to get some idea of how much ' a small amount ' was for my first few tries.

Really good stuff, but slow delivery
I ordered this for making fondant decorations for a 2-tier birthday cake, and it took a week and a half to arrive. The powder itself is great, just mix a tiny pinch into the fondant, and it will become easier to work, and dries solid. The order actually arrived the day before the party, by which time I was in a bit of a panic time-wise, as I'd tried (and failed) to source some locally. However, I did get the decorations made, and they looked great. All in all, great stuff, but you do need to order it well in advance.

Tylose which works wonderfully, great value for money!
I absolutely love this tylose powder. I mix it with fondant (roll on icing) to harden it to make cake decorations and it works so well. Since the first time I bought it, I have always bought this same brand. You need just a little and so the whole packet lasts for ages;, even till its long term expiry date. I strongly recommend.

Same as tylose powder but cheaper than other brands
Same as tylose powder but cheaper than other brands. Just sprinkle a little on your rolled fondant, work it in like corn flour or icing sugar. Roll and cut. Adds stability to shapes makes them dry quicker and stops shape distorting.

Brilliant stuff, wish I'd found it years ago
Brilliant stuff, wish I'd found it years ago! Used this morning for the first time, turned Dr oetker coloured ready to roll icing into solid structures. Also turned black food gel colouring into something I could paint with.No quantities given, just says 'a small amount' so I dabbed what I was rolling in it and it did the trick. This is going to last years :-) I think I read that you can also turn it into edible glue too
