I've yet to try this swimming hat at the pool. My daughter got one too. It doesn't rip at your hair like the small skull cap types. Plus easier to get on and room for your hair. My daughter said more splash proof than waterproof as some water got in her hat round the sided. So if you swim on your front your hair will be dry

I have mid back length locs and this was great for keeping my hair dry whilst swimming, I also do have a fairly big head but the fit is nice and stretchy without cutting of circulation to my ears

It’s a good product but my hair does still get wet it maybe that I need a slightly smaller cap. Overall good product as it is roomy and fits my thick hair in

I was actually really impressed with this swimming cap! I have mid back length braids and bought a size medium and it was perfect fit - snug but not tight!As I was swimming I thought I was getting water in my cap (as is my usual experience) however when I took the cap off. I only had water around my edges and the rest of my hair was completely dry! I would 100% recommend.

I brought this based on reviews, I have long thick hair and have not been able to get my hair in other swim hats. I got a medium but prob should have brought a large. Worn twice and both times my hair has been wet when taken it off :( It's not as wet as wearing no cap though so will carry on wearing for now until I repurchase. Happy with it otherwise and easy to get on

I was a bit worried that it felt a little loose especially around my ears. Unfortunately it leaked. Not to the point of soaking my hair entirely but so much so id consider washing my hair afterwards, which is what i was trying to avoid. (the back especially was soaked and it put me off swimming anything other than breaststroke to avoid it soaking further as i could feel it slipping in the pool). As far as im concerned this makes the product a bit useless to me.Maybe if you have a smaller head this might not work for you as the point of failure for me was the looseness around my head. I dont think a smaller model would of been of much use because i needed it to fit my hair in.Also, more of a silly take, but its not a cute look when its on. There are certainly nicer looking caps out there.So yeah, if you have big hair and a big head too this should work for you. If you have a small head and big hair? Hard pass!

For people like myself, I have long braids past shoulder length, finding a swimming cap that keeps your hair dry and that fits has been an expensive process. Smaller, more mainstream caps, simply do not fit. The limited selection of larger caps do not keep your hair dry AND are branded horribly.I’ve had some time to play about with the Soul Cap and I must say, I am extremely impressed. It’s a product that’s been put together very well, branded well and packaged well. It was these three points that persuaded me to make this purchase over a similar but more expensive and tacky branded extra-large swimming cap also available on Amazon. The swimming cap is a perfect fit. There’s enough space and stretch in the cap to suit those with somewhat longer hair than myself and the cap can fall back for those with short hair than myself. If you have long and “voluminous” hair, the cap is a great fit.So, how does it perform? Well, I was surprised at how well the cap kept my hair dry. I have used many larger caps in the past, they either don’t fit or don’t keep my hair dry. The Soul Cap did both and did it well. There was a LITTLE seepage doing back-stroke but that’s to be expected - no extra-large cap will keep your hair completely dry. It’s also worth mentioning, I’ve started using the cap in the shower too to keep my braids dry. Far superior option that those cheaper disposable shower caps!In short, if you’re looking for a larger swimming cap to fit your long hair WITH volume, this is for you. Don’t waste your time with more expensive swimming caps on Amazon!A final note, I messaged Soul Cap in regard to future availability of colours. Their customer service has been astounding and has a very personal touch, I received a call back asking about my thoughts on a selection of new colours they have with the product designers. As mentioned in a previous review, they really do care about the product and their customers - I genuinely wish them all the success in the future.

Highly recommend for curly hair.Large and very comfortable.Also the quality of the product is good.
