Does what it says on the tin. Advise buying their specially made stake for mounting it on, but make sure you get the correct one for the size of the flag pole as it comes in two sizes.

Great for use with Bird of Prey kite seagull scarer, we live on the coast where seagulls are prolific, had a real problem where mother was feeding them and they would come to the back door and knock for their food every morning noon and night, purchased one of these to try scare them off. This pole looks good,but to use it for a flag I would recommend using a key ring attachment for the top fixing of the flag instead of a flag bungee as they become slack and the flag slides down. There is also a ground fixing stake that is recommended for use with the pole (but not mentioned in the main ad).It is not recommended to fix to fences etc with cable ties or other fixing.For my own use I wish I had gone bigger than 6m.UPDATED. First bought in 2015 and used on a regular basis in the spring/summer months. To fly a flag I attach to the top ring, with a caribena clipped lower down to hold the bottom of the flag along with a fishing weight to help hold the flag down in the wind. I fly them in an area that can become quite windy and when the wind gets too strong and pulls the flag and weight back up, that's the time to take it down. I have had mine for 5 years now and one of the two snapped ( left out over night during VE celebration) I will be buying a replacement. Use common sense, if it's bending excessively in the wind, take it down! As for there being no fixings in some reviews, it's telescopic, pull out each section and twist them and if you do it right, it is hard to get it to collapse down, but that's what you want!

Item arrived quickly. Was cable tied to our vehicle with a flag strapped on and even though we were in a gale and wet windy August everything survived well. Great pole.

Compact, and very sturdy product.

Unfortunately the only plus point of this review is that it arrived in very good time. Sadly the pole only lasted two and a half days at the Glastonbury Festival before shearing off about a metre and a half up from the base. Granted I had three lightweight flags on but so did plenty of other festival goers. The construction and material should have been able to cope, although it is stated as a ‘windsock’ pole. Slightly put a damper on the weekend but hey that’s life.

Einfache Installation durch zusammen stecken - platzsparend wenn "eingeklappt". Aktuell mit Schnur und Kabelbindern an einem bestehenden Pfosten im Garten fixiert. Wir warten auf Sturm!

wie der Angler sagen würde. Aber selbst bin ich auf die Idee nicht gekommen, eine solche dafür zu verwenden. Also nix zu meckern. Erfüllt ihren Zweck hervorragend und war schnell da.
