No written instructions but having used a silava compass lots of times it did not matter to me.No problems with compass so far; neat, clear and has lanyard.Surprisingly lacks 1:50,000 scale; does have 1:15000; 1:20,0000; 1:25,000 so only 4 stars from me

My husband, who knows about these things, says this. O pass is perfect and just what we need to navigate our way up Ben Nevis. I say the company really make you feel special! If I need anything else I will definitely be buying from them again.

Easy to use, it doesn`t need a manual, red arrow points north, it`s common sense. It's also shown on the compass itself. I also like the addition of the little magnifying glass.

I rather thought there was some "how to use" instructions with this but not hence from my point of view not much good to me at present. May be one is supposed to know how to use it but there is the basic question of which needle red or black is the main needle that tells you north? The is fading around the numbers and east direction. So o.k. it was not expensive But!

Easy to use, compact and clear to read. I am not much of a traveller and not the greatest at correct orientation but like to know my north from south and east from west. This is perfect for me.

Compass doesn't point north, at all, not even close, so what more can you say!And it arrived late....

Still trying to work this out, I have completely no Denver if direction. And needed this to assist when working where clients gardens are facing...hence given it three stars

Da der Kompass ein Geschenk war, kann ich nur sagen, dass er genau wie erwartet war. Sieht sehr gut aus, die Nadel pendelt sich schnell und anscheinend genau ein. Die Verarbeitung ist gut, der Kompass ist stabil. Die Lupe und die verschiedene Messhilfen an den Seiten werden sicher sehr hilfreich sein. Ein gutes Produkt, das ich gerne weiterempfehlen kann.
