august 2016 update: this is now officially one of our best buys. i can't stop raving about it! our baby is now nearly 8 months old and not a small baby but still fits in this seat and prefers this to his highchair. i find that this seat has become more useful now that baby is mobile because it's a safe and portable place to keep the baby while getting stuff done (and making the baby feel involved!). we find that on the days when our little one is a bit clingy and it's only one of us at home and needing to shower, the seat is also great for floor seating in the bathroom and you can chat to the little one while in shower. the base is very sturdy and stable. another key thing to point out is that it's very light so you can have seat in one hand and carry baby in another; plus we've recently traveled and took the seat with us as a feeding chair (it comes with a tray). since we stayed at a hotel, it was such a delight to conveniently pop baby into his seat and not have to carry him all the time or have him sitting on the high hotel bad with increased risk of falling off. and i must add - this seat has been through all sorts of food and poo stains and still looks brand new after every wash! i would give 6 stars----april 2016 review: i am someone who takes my time to make a purchase. so when the time came to decide on a baby carrier, i dragged my feet a lot. hubby didn't like that of course but i didn't want something that would encourage too much carrying when we got to that point when baby should be learning not to be held or carried all the time. weeelll...here i am shopping for something that would help my baby learn to sit and i came upon this lovely find. there's a frog version but i choose the giraffe because it's brighter (in my opinion - the frog version is blue). my baby loves this, hubby too and it serves the purpose of having a safe place to put a 3 month old on without having to carry him all the time or having him on his back all the time - and you can get stuff done with your baby sitting right next to you! winner

Very happy with this. Very easy to put together thanks to the clear step-by-step instructions. Been using it for a month so far, since daughter was 4 months old. She’s very secure and stable in it and she loves playing with the toys attached to it. It’s lightweight, easy to carry between rooms and it can fold up too so very portable.Edited to add: Daughter is now 7 months and we’re still using it! So it’s turned out to be great value considering how much use we’ve got out of it. Although she can now sit up independently it’s still great to use in the kitchen while I cook or to bring to other’s houses to give her something to play with.

This is great floor seat for my baby. We start using it when our baby was about 3 months old, as he had good head control. He does only like to sit in for about 5 minutes, but that's just because babies get bored very quickly. Once he is slightly older I'm sure he will want to spend more time in it.It is quite tricky taking baby out of it, but you just have to pull them out at the right angle and then it's easy. If you don't get the angle right then it's very frustrating as I found out the first couple of times trying to take my little one out.There are 2 squeaky foot pad sounds , so when baby kicks they make squeaky sound, but as my baby is quite big his legs go past this therefore he cannot use the foot pads to make noise.Overall this is an amazing sit me up floor seat, and even though baby sits in it for approx 5-10 min, it's just great for mummy to have a short but sweet break.

Really handy as my little girl isn’t able to sit up herself for a long time so this allows her sit and watch what’s going on. The tray is handy for weaning and she loves the little clip-on toys which are similar to the ones on her jumperoo.Easy enough to take the fabric off and pop in the wash - dries quickly and looks just as good afterwards.My daughter does get bored after a while and arches her back to try and escape. It doesn’t get her very far now but I don’t think she’ll be in it for much longer ( she’s six months now). This is fine though, as the price is good value for the use we’ve had from it already.We were looking at the Bumbo seats but glad we bought this instead.

Item arrived really quickly, was easy to put together and I feel like we’ve already had our money’s worth; with the amount my little girl uses it. She loves it, it’s much sturdier than other baby seats I’ve looked at and suppprts her really well. My only criticism is it’s a little difficult to get her legs in the holes...which maybe you wouldn’t struggle with so much with other chairs like the Bumbo. Overall though I would definitely recommend.

We absolutely love this little chair. Our little boy has been sitting in it since he was around 4 months- just for a few minutes to start with but now he’s almost 6 months he’ll sit in here for longer periods. It supports him well and the seat is low to the ground so he is in a sitting rather than standing position. The tray is really useful and now his arms are a bit longer he can reach the toys we put there. The rattles that come with the chair are really nice. It’s easy to fold and is very sturdy. Very happy with our purchase and our little boy loves the chair!
