This cooler is great for a day at the pool, park or beach. Anywhere you need to keep drinks and food cold. This cooler meets all my needs. Most of the bad reviews are people expecting too much from soft coolers in this lineup. This is a day or two worth cooling. This doesn’t replace a typical ice chest.The biggest selling point for me is the main roll style entrance point. It seals the bag keeping the contents cold and you don’t have to deal with those hard waterproof zippers like on other brands. Though yeti offers a cool magnetic strip on their bags.

Loving this backpack cooler so far! VERY LIGHT and easy to load. Like the little extra pockets and bottle opener that came with it. Material feels really durable. Had a yeti M30 hopper, but sold it. I am very happy went with this backpack. Did some research on this before purchase and saw that it’s pretty popular in the fishing world. So I’m sure it has to be a durable and reliable cooler. Would definitely go with ENGEL from now on.

I put an entire bag of party ice from the grocery store into this cooler.It lasted 4 days of mostly solid ice. Then on the 5th day, it got watery but there was still ice.I used it to fill up a 40 oz. Hydroflask with water and ice while camping in a forest area.

This works great!

Returned however because I was looking for a smaller size that I can wedge into my oversized bike saddle bag.

Does not hold Ice over 24hrs very well for the high price.

It keeps the ice intact for a long time!We use it all the time to go boating. Great helper

The media could not be loaded. Ordered this nice looking backpack cooler due to the great expectations. Says ice last for 3 days in ideal conditions. Well I live in Florida. Today the high was 95 and placed a good amount of ice to keep two cans of soda cold. I had high expectations after seeing what other bigger name brands can do. After about 3.5 hours the ice was melted. The fold top isn’t better imo either vs the zipper. Seems odd, annoying, letting the air out, rolling it then clipping underneath some handles on the side.The top part of the bag is some type of plastic lining but it gets hot very quickly. There’s no 1 inch foam on top of the bag. Rather have a foam all the way around including the top - even if it means dealing with a zipper. It’s expensive the top fold is annoying and honestly doesn’t help with the insulation. I will be returning it. For the money paid,it should be performing better. Real honest review - not those 22 paid reviews.
