Didn’t work for me, but invaluable for others
For some they will work great - especially if you need to spray something - but I was using them to paint picture frames with a brush and unfortunately they didn’t work that well for me - obviously due to the design of a frame having a big hole in the middle, meaning that it was easy for the frame to move and slip off these holders as they do not grip.I absolutely love the bench cookies that these attach to - so was disappointed that these couldn’t give me my desired outcome. On something with a larger base I can see that these could be invaluable.Although it is a simple idea, they could perhaps be improved a little - rather than having a needle point that they have now, they could have a smaller version of the bench cookie on the top, this would provide a little extra ‘grip’ and function in the same manner that the bench cookie does although there would obviously increase the cost substantially. These aren’t for me unfortunately, however for the right thing - I can see these will be useful. The only issue with using these to spray something is that both these and the bench cookies will probably pick up paint flecks and could potentially loose their ‘grippy-ness’ if you’re using these for multiple uses - if you use these for spraying I’d recommend having a single set of bench cookies that you use just for spraying, and keeping the bottom clean.

Simple and easy to use
These bench cookie cones are simple but ideal for painting and finishing items on the workbench. Simply put them on top of the gripper (they clip on firmly but can be easily removed) and place the work piece on top. They're light plastic but solid, and stack inside each other for storage. Ideal for keeping paint, oil or stains from messing up the grip surfaces on my bench cookies.

Simple Idea - Works Brilliantly
Like the Bench Cookies themselves these little plastic things seem simple - and they are - but they work so well I can't help but like them.If you are a woodworker there will come a time when you want to spray or brush paint something. Ideally you want to lift that object up and often its a scrap of wood or a bit of wire. Sometimes a nail in a bit of wood to provide a base. These essentially replicate that idea. What's nice about them is that they fit over the Bench Cookies and therefore grip the support table with resilient pads making sure that nothing slides around. The tips have a slight radii that is enough to stop an indentation but small enough to allow the coating process to be done effectively.Very good little item and a useful workshop addition.

Work well and robust.
A great companion for bench cookies to assist with painting.Easy to use and seem to be of a decent quality plastic. Having dropped them onto a concrete floor a couple of times they have stood up well.

Excellent build quality and assist with professional job.
These are fantastic. I'm not the best painter but I've just done a professional standard job on two doors and the bench dog cookie and paint attachments meant I could lay the doors flat and turn them quickly between coats. Well pleased. Highly recommended.

Boring but they do the job
Difficult to get excited about these as they are just bits of plastic that sit on the bench dogs. Well made and should last. 4 starts because they were expensive for what is four bits of plastic.
