UNIVERSAL ADJUSTING OVEN SHELF

Needed a second shelf in my oven for occasional use. I wouldn't buy this if you need to use it regularly. It's a bit lightweight but perfect for me.No instructions with it on how to use the clips but I eventually found another reviewer post a video link!Pull the sides fully out, and insert the long bit of the clips in, so the curved bit is outside. See my photo. Then push the slotted bit back on. The clips help keep it in place 👍🏾

I was really dubious about this product after reading all of the terrible reviews but went ahead a bought it anyway as it’s pretty cheap.I was pretty nervous putting it in and then testing it out BUT it is perfect, it’s very sturdy! It’s as sturdy as the the one that original came with my oven! Would definitely reccomend! I don’t understand the bad comments, maybe they’ve changed their supplier? But it’s great anyway

This universal oven shelf is fine for lightweight items and perfect as an extra rack when doing a lot of baking. It adjusts easily to the desired width.I wouldn't want to put a heavy casserole dish or anything containing a lot of hot liquid onto the shelf as it does have a tendency to reduce in size when you slide items in and out. This means it slips out of the oven rack holders and falls down on one side spilling anything on it at the time. I think this is due to the adjustable shelf having no mechanism to lock it to the desired width. If it had some lugs, oven proof twists or similar to retain the expanded size it would be much better.The universal adjusting oven shelf is fine for putting a baking tray with scones/biscuits on it or similar. Not so suitable as the only shelf in the oven for roasting and heavy items or anything containing scalding liquids.Arrived very quickly from the third party supplier.

I bought as a spare and i still can figure out how to fix the clips so it doesnt move no instructions

A basic but very useful piece of kit for ovens which don't have enough shelves. We found it easy to adjust and the spring inserts do keep it fixed at the right width - although we managed to get everything to come to bits when we first adjusted the shelf - more a comment on us and our ham-fistedness than the item itself.It does the job with no problems once adjusted for size - what more can one say!

Flimsy and slips out when any thing is put on it however heavy or light so it’s not fit for purpose

So much easier than trying to clean old oven shelf.

Good for adding to the oven , well made and very happy with this purchase

Parece sólida y se ajusta bien a mi horno. Es justo lo que quería y a muy buen precio. La recomiendo.
