Fisher-Price Smart Stages Piggy Bank, Baby Electronic Educational Toy with Songs and Phrases and Lights teaching Counting, Numbers, Colours, 6 Months Plus

Bought this as a gift for my daughter. Really sturdy and the coloured counters helped with learning colours and how to count. My wee girl loved it. You can adjust the volume and the battery life is really good.

The media could not be loaded.  I bought this recently to try to help my son with his counting and numbers as although he can count to ten with help, he does get mixed up on his own and the piggy bank does seem to be helping. Both my son and my baby daughter love this piggy bank from Fisher Price and my daughter especially loves playing with it for long periods of time as she loves anything that is repetition based and will fill the Piggy, empty, fill again, empty again, fill again, empty again.... until her big brother comes and insists on ruining her fun by wanting to play too!This is yet another brilliant toy from Fisher Price and features the smart stages technology that all of their toys seem to feature now and this means that this toy will grow with your child. Level 1 is from 6 months and features songs, counting and numbers and Level 2 is from 12 months and older and feaures songs, numbers and counting in both English and French. I have attached a video and a short picture slideshow after the video, showing our newest Fisher Price toy in action and both of my children absolutely love it. The piggy comes with 10 coloured coins which each have a number on one side and a different animal on the reverse. The piggy takes 2 AA batteries and you will need a Philips/Posidrive/Crosshead screwdriver to open the battery compartment when the installed batteries run out. I can confirm that there is not a volume control. The little door at the side of the piggy is very easy to open and close and my children have no problems with this. Finally if your little one presses the piggy's nose he interacts with phrases and songs.As to be expected from Fisher Price everything is well thought out, education and brightly coloured and they continue to be our most trusted toy brand for the children and one we keep returning to time and time again.

My kids love this product, so much so that my son often won't put it down. It's a smart stages toy which means that it can be set to different levels depending on child's age and development. It comes with 10 coins which are numbered and in 5 different colours. On level one when you put the coins in the piggy bank counts them. When you open and close the door, the toy responds to this.

Great for my daughter and building on fine motor skills! She loves playing with the counters and popping them into the top of the piggy bank. Lots of fun for little people. Well made and lovey colours too.

This is great fun for kids, is very effective at teaching them numbers 1-10. I find the French addition confusing and irrelevant for this age group. I'd find it far more useful if level 2 did something like explore questions about the numbers or colours. Overall my son loves it and gets good fun out of it.

I bought this toy for my one year old son for christmas. He figured out straight away that the coins go into the slot, although he did try to insert them side ways so I had to show him a few times how to put them in correctly. The coins are just the right size for his little hands to grip and when he got the hang of it, he was so excited. Then when he realized he could open and close the door, he loved it even more. He also loves the songs the pig plays when it's nose is pressed. His face lit up when he heard the songs and started dancing! After that, he has kept pressing the nose so he can dance. I seen someone say on a review that the sound was very quiet but I've not found that to be the case, so I'm thinking maybe it was a bit of a faulty one? At the moment my son seems to adore this toy, although I can see him becoming bored of it after a while. Time will tell!

My grand child loved this toy. The next grand child started to play with it too. Unfortunately the sound has stopped working. Has anyone had this problem and know of a fix as currently not in stock to buy again.

My little girl loves it. She’s 18 months old, born 27 weeks premature and it helps her monitoring development and the bright colours of the coins and counting keeps her interested, not to forget the oink oink nose of the piggy. It’s very sturdy, too. Definitely one of the best gifts we got her this Christmas. Thank you Fisher-Price!!! :)

Mia figlia se ne è subito innamorata: la qualità Fisher Price non delude mai! Resistente, robusto, questo maialino è davvero simpatico. Ha due livelli di gioco, uno per i bimbi più piccoli e l'altro per i più grandicelli. Parla solo in inglese, al secondo step anche un minimo di francese.
