I asked community some questions and seems that people very happy with them
I was skeptical to buy these pans perhaps low price for 3?, and looking between them and Lodge. I asked community some questions and seems that people very happy with them.Thank you Janie to answer my questions, now I have a set for myself and I do enjoy them. I do not regret that bought them! Very good quality and pleasure to cook. BTW price £38.15 for 3 cast iron pans made in Britain - Fantastic! + you will get quite thick knitted glove. Love it!Thanks a lot!

Love these pans!
I've read a lot of the bad reviews about these pans and other skillets, so I was prepared! If you really want to use skillets in general, read up on them on the internet because they need time and care, and if you don't look after them, you will hate them BUT they are worth it! They are NOT tefal non-stick!! So you need to prepare them before cooking ie season them properly before and occasionally after depending on what you cook in them.I love these skillets especially their weight.I've done a lot of cooking with them. I use them on the gas stove and in the oven. Omelettes, cakes, sautéed vegetables, tarts, quiches are some of the things I've prepared in them. I have only been able to cook fried eggs sunny-side up successfully just once though - I need a tefal/non-stick pan for them! Unless I'm cooking with oil, I line them with grease-proof or baking paper when baking.I keep them oiled and re-season them after washing, especially if I have to scrub them a little to get them clean.

Good for the price
My old cast iron frying pan had a machined smooth interior, these do not. However, for the price they have proved to be a good little set. I seasoned them three or four times before using them and now every other use. They cook the food well, they are solid but not too heavy. I like them. Delivered on time by a chearful driver. Full marks.

Good items at a very reasonable price
Good items at a very reasonable price. I am using these instead of stainless steel frying pans which I was going to replace, but there is no need to as these do just as good a job at a 1/3 of the price.

BRILLIANT PURCHASE
Bought as a Christmas Present for someone who just purchased an induction hob range cooker. My friend is over the moon with them as alot of their old pans are not compatible with the New cooker. Pans are great to cook with. They helped make my friends Christmas so thank you

Fine, but short handle may hurt your hand
No major problems - it's cast iron so you know that all brands don't have a non-stick seasoning that lasts - mine was not great at all, but after frying some chicken in it it's back to good. The biggest problem is the handle - the largest pan has a handle too short, which can make it very tiring and eventually painful to use. The surface isn't that smooth, but apparently that's a modern thing with cast iron pans.

Not brilliant…
These are not good pans, cheap…they are just cheap pans. One had an obvious manufacturing repair (see photo) and the main area was as level as a ski slope (see photo). I thought maybe I had just been unlucky, but I returned them to the third party seller who said that they were fine and so charged postage.Maybe if you haven’t seen good cast iron pans these may seem ok… but if you have you know they are not.You pays your money…

Gracias
