Battery received and well packaged with screwdrivers and very good instructions. Seems good quality - time will tell if the battery will perform well.

This enabled me to give an older MacBook a new lease of life. Good instructions and easy to install.

Arrived promptly and is working as expected

The alcohol to loosen the glue for the old battery is not provided, but that might be because the supplier is not allowed to provide. We were lucky that we had some alcohol, but it would be useful to know this so it could be ordered separately. Cleaning off the old glue took me 15 minutes for each of the 6 sticky sections. Everything else was straightforward. The instructions provided are easy to follow. The battery has worked well for the first two days since replacement. Sometimes it needs to be plugged in to start up, but that might be a problem with the hardware itself given it is 7 years old. Screwdrivers provided are magnetised which is helpful given the small screws.

Aftee using the battery for one month, it drains very quickly. Now a full charge can only last for two hours. Horrible product.

This is the second time I've replaced the battery on my 15" mid-2012 MacBook Pro and this went completely smoothly. There were no issues changing it - using one of the two supplied screwdrivers.It was bulging badly enough to stop the trackpad from working right.I was surprised to see the other replacement was done in 2016 - eight years ago.Since I also had upgraded the RAM to 16 GB and replaced the HDD with an SSD when the original battery was changed, this is still a quite usable system. That's especially true after I got the latest macOS Sonoma (14.4.1) installed (using OpenCore Legacy Patcher). Otherwise it would be stuck at Catalina (10.15.7), now four versions in the past.

Easy to install with extremely well-prepared instructions and tools set for doing everything. It would be nice to inform people of the need for alcohol in advance .

Las instrucciones no son muy claras, pero es sencillo encontrar un tutoría en internet para poder retirar la batería vieja, los pegamentos que trae para instalar la batería nueva no son buenos no pegan, prepárate con cinta de doble cara DELGADA si no quieres que la batería se esté moviendo. La batería no ajusta perfectamente en el espacio en la computadora pero se puede forzar un poco para que cierre bien la tapa. Después de cambiar la batería hice pruebas de carga/descarga y he alcanzado hasta 3 hr con 40 min hasta la descarga total, suficiente porque mi batería solo duraba 5 minutos como máximo.

overall a wonderful experience. The battery is well packed and protected. Provided tools and accessories are of well quality and more than enough. The instruction is well printed and detailed to the simplest step. The whole process took about an hour, most of the time were spent on cleaning the glue residues. I use metal scrap to score on the glue foam and drip acetone to soften the glue. Remove the residue and wipe clean the glue with acetone. It's more efficient than alcohol as recommended in the instruction.

It's a complete kit except for the alcohol. Straightforward. I preferred a walkthrough video I found on Youtube vs the included instructions. Note that the keypad will not click until you've restarted the computer.
