Good saw for the price
Good saw for the price. I bought this last fall, but I don't like working in the garage in the cold and turbo heater is smelly. I finally got around to playing with it yesterday. At first I was getting disappointed, but today I figured it out a little. More on that in a moment...Pros:It has plenty of power. I've only used it on pine, but cut through 3/4 no problem.Appreciate the long cord, longer than many tools. The velcro cord strap is a nice touch.Like the plastic/rubber bottom cover, don't have to worry about my wood getting marred. The light and laser are a nice touch. Though when the light is on, it kind of fades out the laser line. Or I need to wear my glasses when cutting.Easy to change the blade with no tools.Variable speed will come in handy.Included edge guide is an added bonus.Cons:I could not get the dust collection to work. I have a bigger shop vac with plenty of suction, but won't clear the wood for me. Yes I did mess with the dust port button on the side. I think the port might be to far away. Plus with a jigsaw, most of the debris comes out the bottom of the piece, so might be tough. Not a deal breaker. But the debris can get in the way while cutting. One concern, when I attached the edge guide, it kept pulling to the left, as another reviewer mentioned. And I wasn't pushing it or anything, just kept wandering to the left. As you might be able to see in the picture. Also cutting a circle, it did not turn out to well. One big reason I wanted a new jigsaw was for circles. In really looking it over, I noticed that I could twist the blade quite a bit. Moved probably a good 1/8". I looked over the blades that come with it and noticed the black ones were thicker than the silver ones. (don't know the difference between them). So today I put in a thicker black blade, with the edge guide and this time it stayed on track, no wandering. Glad I figured this out, as the saw might not be as useful otherwise.Only thing, is to figure out how to get the correct thickness of blades.Last thing, I wish it came with a circle cutting guide, not like you can order one. Maybe I can find something that will work.Over all I am happy with the purchase, not perfect, but works well. Much better than my super cheap jigsaw I've been using. Once I get use to it, might be even better. But I have to say it, if you are looking for a saw that gives a perfect finished cut every time, or if you are a a perfectionist, this might not be the saw for you. Just something to keep in mind.[UPDATE 12-12-2018] Took it out today and noticed the edge guide it broken. Looks like a real small, cheap weld holding the bar on to the mounting piece. I've used the guide maybe twice, so it has not gotten much use and sure not banging around in the case. Sad it broken so easy. Don't know if I can get a replacement, stinks I have to buy one. I have been cutting electrical box outlets lately and it does well with that.

A great orbital jigsaw!
One of my biggest hobbies is woodworking and while I have several tools that I use consistently very few of them do I rely on as much as my Tacklife Jigsaw. I stumbled across it online and decided to give it a try because of the laser feature and it’s ability to cut at adjustable speeds and the multi blades that were included. I cannot express how easy it is to use, and the quality that you get with the saw. I have gone through several jigsaws that just didn’t hold up, but this one definitely stands the test of time. I have recommended it to more than just a few of my friends and I would gladly recommend it again. If you’re in the market for a jigsaw then definitely don’t let this one pass you by! Great overall saw!

Does a great job, easy to use.
Easy to use and I'm an inexperienced lady redoing my own floors. Had a problem with the laser pointing the wrong way, but I'm not familiar with power tools and didn't know how to fix it. Contacted customer service, they sent a video link showing how to easily adjust the laser. I realized that I can use the laser to cut straight and to mark lines at an angle. Just in case you are scared of your saw the first time you use it, this one quickly becomes familiar. I will tell on myself, I read the booklet warning that the saw blade could get hot and to use caution when changing or removing the blade. I stopped the saw and was alarmed at how red the blade was..thinking that I had over heated it somehow. After several minutes the blade was still red, I realized it was actually the red laser light and not a red hot saw blade. I have gotten over that learning curve and successfully cut several pieces. There is a nice case for storage and the saw is a good weight and fits my hand nicely. My husband said I made a good choice, I recommend this saw as well.

Good value! Five stars
I had a Jigsaw made by another manufacturer that died on me in the middle of a wood-working project, so I ordered the Tacklife Jigsaw as a replacement because it had the best price at the time. Then I used it almost every day for several months, to cut squares into sheets of plywood when I laid flooring in my attic. I've never had a problem and it performed like a champ. I also like the laser to help keep my cuts straight when I'm free-styling. So far, so good. After using it almost daily for several months, I'm completely satisfied with my Tacklife Jigsaw and have no complaints. Five stars.

Great Saw for a Really Great Price.
I took a chance on this jigsaw because I had never heard of the brand and it was fairly inexpensive so I thought I might be risking the chance of getting a piece of junk. Fortunately my fears were unfounded and the Tacklife jigsaw is a superb tool. I just love all the features like the laser guide, the sturdy case with built in container for blades (which it comes with a set of 6 (an assortment of wood and metal cutting blades)). I had been using a 20+ year old hand me down so features like the spring loaded support wheel that helps to keep you from breaking the blade are new to me and a really great idea. I’ve used it on 3 or 4 small projects and it has worked really well so far. There are some settings that I’m not very clear on, but it’s getting the job done regardless. If anything changes I’ll update this review, but for now at least the Tacklife jigsaw gets 5 stars from me.

Powerful and feature-full high quality jig saw - but you should replace the blades.
This jig saw performs as well or better than many that are more expensive. Really powerful, feature-full and solid performance. I will say this though - get better blades than what comes with it. This is pretty normal for most power tools though. I replaced these with Bosch blades and I can't imagine anything about it being any better.

Great product! As described.
I bought this for building a deck, actual tool itself works great, I love that it came with blades. It would of got 5 stars except my one complaint which is the case which barely holds everything it came with. It takes way longer than it should to pack up everything up do the size constraints. You can barely fit the power cord in along with everything else, and I imagine the constant bending to get the cord to fit will only damage it in the long run. Annoying but not a deal breaker.
