Great for small animals
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am a home hospice nurse and one of my patients was being pestered by a raccoon kept coming on her deck during the day. I was afraid she would either get bit or would fall trying to get away from it. I called animal control and they said they will not come and get the raccoon but I could pay another company about $200 to come and remove it. So me, being the frugal type, thought I would go ahead and trap it and release it somewhere else. So now, I am the animal trapping home hospice nurse, LOL! It worked wonderfully, we had a false start with the kitten, but after that it caught the little raccoon. I was able to safely transport it in my trunk, With a absorbent pad beneath it to avoid urine getting in my car. The only thing that worried me was releasing it because there was not a Safe way to release the animal without being close to the cage. So I had to come up with my own release method using some tent pegs and a long bit of twine. But now we are trying to capture a feral cat keeps pumping out kittens. We will see if that works. Would recommend this to everyone who needs to trap a small animal. Not for large animals at all, this raccoon Weighed maybe 10 pounds but I wouldn’t trap something that’s larger, it won’t fit.

Huge Raccoon
Had a 40# raccoon that was to big for my smaller traps. This worked after having to beef it up with zip ties to help secure the sides. First time he was trapped he busted out of a corner. Then a week later I was able to take him 30 minutes away to the state land.

It worked
I trapped a pet cat that is very skittish. I moved and needed to take him with me. The fasteners holding this together cut his poor little paws as he was trying to get out. He was okay, but there was a lot of blood in the trap when I was done. It folded away for easy storage in case I need it again. I wouldn't use it for anything tougher than a cat, and I would look at a different way of keeping the thing together if I were to use it more than once.

Great for feral cat trapping
Trapped many feral cats in this thing for a TNR project. Please pay attention for how to release the animal properly so that you don’t injure an animal or break the trap

Worth the buy to catch fully grown raccoons & rabbits
Extremely easy to setup. Wire runs along outside of cage protecting it from damage by the trapped animal. The cage is the right size to catch fully grown raccoons, rabbits & possums.I did have to bend a separate wire that holds trap door open while setting the trap & placing bait inside. The separate wire was easy to bend. Only had to bend it once. It’s been fine since.

No instructions.
Some people understand how to set up these traps. They are nothing like others I've had. No instructions and I can't for the life of me figure it out. How much can it cost for a slip of paper giving instructions for this tech. challenged old lady.

Capture garantie.
