Very cool gift for the avid basketballer
This is actually a real basketball that lights up very effectively upon touch and shuts itself off if you don't touch it for a few minutes. It's heavier than a normal basketball but not as bad as a weighty medicine ball - hence my son (13) likes using it for training to strengthen his arms. I'd say it's too heavy to use in a proper basketball game. It comes with a pump and several ball/pump attachments and tiny instruction sheet on how to change the batteries. It really does look like in the image. We actually used our own bike pump to inflate it as that was a lot faster and more efficient than using the pump provided. Very happy with this purchase. Would be good as a night light or just a gimmicky gift for a basketball fan.
