arrived promptly and is a well made strong seat capable of bearing a heavy weight. However, I am elderly and find the smooth seat surface intimidating. I have stuck anti-slip decals on the seat and these have made me feel secure. You need to know that the seat has a little 'give' when you first sit on it and this can be intimidating too, but, as the builder of my new bathroom (a large heavy man) demonstrated, it is quite capable of bearing his heavy weight. I like the way it folds really flat and tidily against the wall. I would give it 5 stars for appearance and strength but took off 1 star because it was too smooth.

The seat was installed without any aggravation.As others have said, there is a little flex when you sit down and the seat can feel slippy at times. This can be disconcerting if you suffer from restricted movement.Do need to make sure you warm any soapy water off the seat so no soap film left behind to slip on.After 8 months since the seat was installed I am disappointed that the paintwork is starting to flake off.

Nice quality item. Well packed good delivery.Partner not so good at DIY so got professional to fit this onto tiled wall.Fitter indicated it was easy enough to fit , strong seat but given tile wall purchased and used extra durable screw fittings.Thats maybe down to our wall and I'm no light weight !

CRAP , SPENT FORTUNE ON En-suite refit. This seat was supposed to be a good product. Most reviews say it gives a bit when you use it. I'm not over weight nor was the joiner and plumber who fitted it. They both would not trust it with there weight either and the wall was gravely reinforced before fitted to the wall. On the plus side it's a cracking shelf for your shampoo bottle. Avoid at all cost imo

Not only is this fantastic value for money when you look at what else is available, it’s also the only one looks like it’s not designed for a 105-year-old person and about to fall apart any minute. Looks lovely, works really well and it’s really well made
