With no reset button, you will need to disassemble in order to re-set the locking mechanism if you forget the three digit code (( I forgot after my last use )). Fortunately there are three screws on the underside which makes disassembly pretty easy....assembly takes a bit of fiddling if you have sausage fingers like mine.

Comment about the ease of loosening the strap after being attached are true. There could have been a design that locks that down. Still, the idea is to hold the bag in case of a zipper failure, not total security. My take on it, like many things, just slow a casual thief down.I had an issue with the smallest adjustment still being slightly too large. Then, had a moment of clarity and tried going to maximum length and double wrapping it. Worked great on one bag, just barely closing where it was too loose at shortest length. Also negates being able to loosen and remove the thing when already at max size.

These are great luggage straps. Easy to wrap around the luggage. TSA complaint lock makes sure that the authorities can open the bag if there is a need. It also help identify the bag among hundreds of similar looking bags. Very happy with the purchase.

Unfortunately on my fifth flight using this strap, my bag arrived on the carousel with the strap hanging off loose and one of the plastic buckle pieces missing and presumably smashed off in transit. Really hard to recommend a product that only lasted 4 flights before breaking.

This product is very well made , good lock on it , my husband bought a cheaper one and regrets that now he has seen mine .

This is a well made luggage strap, also it is ideal for large suitcases as it is 200cm long. Now I should be able to identify my black suitcase from all the others on the luggage belt.

Very pleased with the luggage straps just what we needed makes the luggage more secure , no worrying about loosing keys with the combinationlocks .
