This file gave a smooth finish to my natural nails while still feeling gentle. I’ve had it for months and the file still works and looks new. I’d never heard of a glass file but now won’t be without one. It doesn’t bend, give off little granules or leave snags. In other words, it’s a great addition to my mail care kit.

I thought it looked cute and was new to me. Bought it on a whim, and I really like it! I have thick, fast growing fingernails that I like to keep short. This file takes slighting longer to get the desired results than my traditional Emory board but I like the feel, process and end product.

I’ll admit that I am not a nail person. I’ve never had a professional manicure or pedicure, never worn artificial nails, and own no nail polishes. But like every other human, I want to keep my nails healthy and in a decent shape. This glass nail file works great for me. It makes quick work of reshaping my nails in a pleasing form and easily smooths any snags or sharp areas of my fingernails. I’m honestly impressed at how easy it is to use. I’m not sure why only one side is for filing while the other side is smooth - are you supposed to use the smooth side somehow? It doesn’t really matter to me, as the rough side does the job very well. I’m not sure why people don’t like it, but maybe the variation in hardness and shaping of the individual nails makes a difference. I am very satisfied with its performance on my boring nails.

Doing my nails and having them look nice is my self care, so I’m pretty picky about mail tools. I needed a small glass nail file with a hard case to toss into my purse. This’ll do.This nail file is very effective, but it has a very obvious sort of grid pattern on Filing surface that kind of messes up the fine control when filing. It’s like my nails get stuck in the lines or something and it creates a drag that makes my nail tips a little rough and frayed. It also makes it hard to move smoothly around the curve of my nail.My fancy glass file in my home mani kit is super smooth and moves around the curves like butta, so maybe I’m spoiled. I think it actually seals the tips.The little case stays put when it’s tumbling around in my purse, which I do like.So, while I can’t use this as an everyday or fine work nail file, it’s handy to keep in my purse for “nail emergencies” like a snag or a break that I need to deal with before more damage occurs.Id say it’s worth it for the price consider it’s a mail item and you can’t feel it before you buy it.

My husband got these for my girls and I a few Christmases ago. At first I thought, "meh, just something he found to fill the space in our stockings." Then I used it and was blown away by how quickly and effortlessly these little files shined my nails, and I mean SHINED!Just before Christmas I discovered that I had misplaced mine somehow and was devastated! Nothing else works like this does! I ordered 3 more, one for me, one one for each of my girls. I recently lost mine, AGAIN! Again, it's killing me because nothing else works the same! I am definitely ordering another! I highly recommend this product and have previously recommended this product to numerous people!

A good nail file is hard to find, but when you need it you need it. I got this as a stocking stuffer, and it’s the gift that keeps on giving. I’ve never had a glass nail file before, mainly I use stainless steel. The glass is not as harsh but does a great job. I think the stainless steel is coarse finish whereas the glass is a lot more smooth finish. I highly recommend it, and will buy more for my purse, car, and travel.

Great glass nail file with a case to protect it in your purse. The etching is on one side and effective for shaping nails and shining the surface too.

I'm not a fan of a one sided nail file. What wasted space! The other side could have been a more aggressive surface instead of smooth glass. Missed opportunity here. For the money I guess it's nice enough and in a sturdy case, but I would prefer one with a dual side.
