Well made, sitting good, easy to press bottoms

I should start by saying that this is really a 3.5 star review. I really wanted to like this MOTIVE iPhone 13 Case more as this phone case is undoubtedly heavy duty and very protective. That said, there are some issues that prevented me from giving it a higher recommendation. To begin with, I had a really difficult time getting my iPhone 13 into the case. No instructions were included so I assumed that I could slip in my iPhone as with other cases I've used before. Unfortunately, the edges were so hard and tight that at some points, I thought I would crack my phone trying to push it in. My phone got stuck with only three corners in the case several times before I gave up on that method. I had worked up a sweat trying to get my iPhone into this case, which has never happened before in the many years I've been using phone cases. I finally removed the outer case layer entirely, inserted my phone into the inner plastic case frame from the back, and then put the framed phone into the outer case.Another issue is that the two hinged doors that cover the bottom port and left side silent on/off switch are designed to close back and won't open wide easily, which makes it challenging to either plug in my iPhone at the port or reach the side switch. This is especially difficult because the thick layer of case protection around the phone's edges makes the port and switch even more recessed and harder to access. I have to use my pinkie finger nail each time to switch the silent mode on and off. My husband can't even reach the switch with his fingers. I can access all of the other side switches through the case without any problems though. And as mentioned before, this heavy duty case is very protective. Just be aware that getting a phone into this case might prove frustrating and reaching the side switch and port may be inconvenient.

I couldn’t wait to try this one. The inside is padded really soft and the exterior hard. It’s a good fit, good value, perfect!

Unlike other iphone cases, this one has a outer shell and an inner plastic liner. This means there’s about a 1-2cm height around the screen. Note, you will have to buy your own screen protector. The case doesn’t have one.I’ve dropped it a few times already and it hasn’t scoffed at all. Screen is still intact too.The only complaint is the lack of a pop it or built in kickstand. Had to purchase one to fit. A minor issue is that you can’t wirelessly charge it because of the case thickness. You have to remove the outer shell for it to charge.
