This is a great advent calendar. I especially love the different size drawers which is what I was looking for. It’s well built and you can rearrange the drawers. Plus it looks lovely lit up, great value for money.

I wanted a wooden advent calendar with large drawers. The only other was double this price. The reviews were putting me off though.It arrived and it’s decent quality - it’s balsa wood and the top parts could snap with mishandling but if you look after it then it should be fine. Two drawers were jammed shut. I removed the surrounding drawers and pushed gently from behind and they popped out. I suspect they need sanding a tiny bit or msg just loosen across time. Two drawer handles showed signs of glue. That I’m sure could be scraped off but that’s me being fussy. I was all happy to be honest until I checked the lights worked - and I only checked because of the reviews - and they don’t work. I am sending it back but I have already ordered another. I will be checking that one out carefully too!

Wow. What an absolutely scam. MOST of the drawers fall apart the moment you try and open them and some won’t open because the wires from the lighting are stuck inside - the only way to get those open is to let the drawer fall apart. I bought this as something the kids would remember for years, maybe pass onto grandchildren - it won’t even last thefirst week of December let alone another season. I also bought it as it would be good for the environment to have something I could Re-use. I am disgusted that these sorts of companies are allowed to continue trading. Why do people scam well meaning customers? It’s such a shame as it’s a lovely design but sadly it’s just Bait to get you to part with your cash with no care for customer satisfaction. Don’t buy this unless you plan to break it apart and remake the entire thing with better quality wood, sand paper and glue.. or unless you are desperate for firewood. Really gutted. And it’s too late to get something for the kids now. What REALLY upsets me is this could’ve been a beautiful product. Someone somewhere has worked really hard to design it but they have been completely let down by the manufacturing quality which is is absolutely shameful

Unit is well made and fits a Fredo, Chomp and even a curly swirly if folded

Very pleased with overall effect but most of the door knobs came off.
