PneumaticPlus SAR300T-N03BG Air Pressure Regulator 3/8" NPT, T-Handle, Gauge & Bracket

Sturdy metal pressure adjustment, works good so far

I'm not one to bash products. I bought a fair amount of PneumaticsPlus products for our new air system in the fabrication area of our facility. Having been through a fair number of air regulator set-ups, I wanted to go with a good one. This looked like the answer. It lasted right at a year, and now has a 1/16" hole blown out the side of the body, just like if it was done with a drill bit. And, no, we don't have the pressure way up on our system. The compressor cuts-out at 140 psi.I won't buy another of these, but I am still trying other PP products, though one other of their filter/lube set up has self-destructed as well. Theres a lot of options out there for these type regulators so I'll go with someone else and hope for better results.

Seems to work okay, does not hold consistent pressure, I set my pressure at 90psi at full tank and pressure. After tank is drained down then pumped up the pressure does not return to 90psi. Drops to 83-85psi, if cycled again it could go back to 90 or even lower 80's psi. I don't mind the pressure being off as much as the gauge or regulator housing threads, were not cut correctly. I was very careful not to cross thread my gauge but it would not thread into the housing. the threads would start to grad then housing threads would peel out since they are aluminum and gauge is brass. I had to press down on the gauge very hard to get thread started, they are not correct but they did grad and thread in with no leaks but i'm afraid if I wanted to remove or relocate gauge it would not go back in and housing would be ruined. I would not recommend this product.

Good for our application, controlling pressure on a test apparatus. Seems to operate smoothly. The only complaint is that the threads for the pressure gauge were either not sufficiently cut or were filled with the paint, in any case I was unable to thread in the pressure gauge until I chased the threads with a 1/8" NPT tap.

Product came fast and was just as drscribed.
