This was perfect. It’s sturdy. Plenty of ventilation for kitty, My cat is 7 pounds at the moment, but she is tall and she fit perfectly in this. It comes with the little bed which was nice. Definitely recommend.

This attractive collapsible pet carrier is far sturdier than I expected for the price. It collapses flatly for easy storage and pops up just as easily when needed. The outer doors have flexible metal supports that keep the shape rigid, so expect a bit of leaning if you open one fully, but it won't come down on your pet.The bag has zippered mesh covered side doors, one mesh covered front panel, and a zippered top opening for ventilation as well as many convenient ways to get your pet in or out of the carrier. Once your pet is inside you can attach the included latch to the collar to prevent the pet from jumping out when you open the bag. Then your pet can snuggle on the soft removable & washable cushion that comes with the carrier. Be sure to unzip the cushion to remove the foam insert before washing it though!The carrier comes with cushioned top carry handles as well as a detachable adjustable padded shoulder strap. The top carry handles provided excellent support for the carrier with my 6 lb dog inside, but I have some concerns about the ability of the plastic D rings and clips used to secure the shoulder strap and would have preferred metal.The carrier has a detachable zippered pouch on the front that could be used for documents or treats, but the zipper measures just 8.5" long so all documents need to be smaller than that to get into the pouch. The pouch is attached to the bag by snap down tabs on the top corners only, so it's possible that it could get snagged and torn off during travel. I removed the pouch from the carrier entirely because the first time I unsnapped it one of the snaps broke, rendering it unusable.Other than the issue with the broken snap on the document pouch, this carrier really is an excellent value. It can easily accommodate a small cat, dog, or a small litter of puppies. I'll be using it to carry Maltese puppy litters to the vet for their exams and I'm definitely pleased with it.

We have 5 cats, two of which are obese and require carriers that can handle their hefty ponches. This bag handles both Nori (12.9lbs) and Holly (10lbs) well, but does dip slightly in the middle like most soft carriers do. There is mesh on all four sides and it comes with a small bag to carry stuff in. I used the small bag to hold the longer strap. Compared to another bag we bought recently, the long strap has plastic clips to attach it to the bag itself, which could be an issue depending on the animal you're carrying as the plastic could snap. I also had some issues with the small bag and how it's affixed to the carrier. If you put anything like ID papers or your pets meds in that bag it'd be easy to lose because the small side bag is only held on by two metal snap buttons.The pad inside is removable and you can unzip the cover to wash it.

This is my first soft pet carrier, I had only used the hard plastic ones previously. I don't fly, but I realized I needed something on hand to transport my cat and decided a soft one would likely suffice. When I first opened this bag, it was folded so compactly that I didn't believe it could really be non-collapsible. It doesn't seem like it will stand up until you zip up the steel frame doors! Each end has two flaps. One for the mesh end-piece that is used for the pet to enter/exit, and a second that contains the steel frames. As soon as I zippered the frames closed, it felt solid and stood perfectly.I love that there are three openings. One on each end, and on the top. 4/5 sides (not including the bottom) have mesh for plenty of air-flow. One side has a removeable zippered pocket. There is a removeable fleece bed liner that uses velcro to adhere to the bottom. I also like that the bottom has little plastic feet, to keep it off the ground a bit. The handheld straps and longer removeable shoulder strap are nicely padded. There are also two side release buckles on one side, I suppose for attaching the carrier to something (other luggage was the intent since it's airline approved) to keep it secure during travel. There also seems to be a "seatbelt" clasp buckle inside that attaches to a collar. I will update my review (and rating if necessary) with the durability and longevity, as cat has only entered the carrier to eat some treats. Very pleasantly surprised with this carrier so far.

I really like the color. I think only small cats like mine would fit because there wasn’t that much room for her to move around. Has a nice pocket on the side.

I got a version of one of these a few years ago and they are SO much easier than the plastic carriers so was excited to find this one for our new cat. He is about 10 pounds right now but pretty long for a cat and fit perfectly in this. He loved it so much I had to convince him to come out of it! It might be the soft fluffy bed at the bottom--it seems to be a nice quality and very comfortable and relaxing looking.Functionality wise, it works perfect. it has the two side openings for cats to come out if they want, I've always fount the top opening to be the easiest for cats though. The zippers were a big thing for me since one of my cats has anxiety and if it is loud and rough to do--it would have set her off--but they were so easy and quiet that it made it a lot easier for her. The handle and side carry strap are extremely functional and handy. It collapses very easily as well when it goes back into storage.Definitely glad to have this in our lives!!
