Bad deploy action.
Most knives that I have bought with a thumb assist will snap open with some wrist action. No matter the effort or adjustment, minimal appropriate lube, this knife would not deploy as I expected from an S&W product. I do have an S&W M&P, yes a more expensive tool, that deploys as expected. Apples to oranges, but with a little adjustment, most knives can be made to deploy as needed.Back it went.

Great knife. The only reason why it’s not a 5 Star is because the belt clip came off after only a week.

Junk
Just opened it for the first time, thumb assist my butt. Zero spring assist, you have to flip your wrist so hard to get it to open you damn near throw the knife out of your hand. S&W should be embarrassed to even have there name on it.

Poor quality
Bought this knife for my boyfriend, who has had it only 3 months, used it a handful of times, and it will not lock open anymore. So it’s now useless...very disappointed. Thought this was a reputable brand. Not impressed at all. Too late to return! :(

Good looking knife, no spring assist
Everything about this knife is incredible, expect for opening it. Lever on the back gets it half way, you have to move it the other 1/2. Either by guiding it with your thumb, which is a bit awkward due to nothing to set it in, have to apply pressure to the blade. Or if you flick it, it will open fully. I don't like the flick. Other knives I have has a nob on the top for the thumb to rest against to open it fully. <- This is not a deal breaker by any means, its a great looking knife and works incredibly well. Just wish it opened better.
