Super fun!!
We have made potato canons in the past and these are very well built but small enough for the kids to operate WITH ADULT SUPERVISION. We were able to get this one to shoot approximately 50 yards. Which was surprising because that’s the same distance we got with the urban warrior canon as well. The trick is to use just the right amount of hairspray which takes a little trial and error. There are recommendations on the side of the canon, but exact amounts will vary based on the type of hairspray you use. Also key is to use a potato that has a greater diameter than the tube and jam it down in there, you have to have a good seal.

DO NOT BUY
Item is way smaller than in the video I watched, try for 10 minutes to get it to work finally got it to work in the barrel blew off, do not buy it is a waste of money

Fun spud launcher
The media could not be loaded. Hold it upright when spraying aqua net. Don’t get ignited wet. Wouldn’t say it goes 1/4 mile. But 1/4 spud duds. Would buy again! Fun and compact for packing on trips.

No house is complete without one!
A great toy for “stupid fun”. It’s a family tradition to fire a few potatoes into the woods or over the river at every gathering. Yes, we could be certifiably crazy but at least we’re having stupid fun while on the way to the nut house!

Stuck Together
This works, that is for sure. However, the product became fused together. I could not get it apart. I even bought special rubber ratcheting straps to try to take it apart. This might have been from me not caring for it properly but it meant I couldn't get down to fix the sparker.I will say, when it was working, be very careful. I shot a potato and had no idea where it went. No one in the neighborhood complained but be careful. A few times, it was loaded and wasn't going off but after a while, it randomly would go. So if it isn't going off, absolutely never look down it or point it at anyone. Take it apart and push the potato out. (Also, do not keep it together after use, take the tube off or it will fuse together and become impossible to separate!)

Tons of fun!
This thing is a lot of fun. It shoots further than I thought it would and is really easy to use. Getting the right hairspray/air ratio took a minute but once you figure that out it fires every time. They say not to shoot anything but potatoes but it works great as a candy cannon too. I put a damp rag down the barrel and filled the rest of the barrel with candy, it works really well!

Not what I expected, tough to get working...
I wish I could rate this higher. Maybe I am inexperienced in using potato guns, but we just couldn’t get this to work after several different methods and different hairsprays.Would be helpful if seller had input on which hairsprays work best. Would save people a lot of time on the backend. Hope it works better for others!
