Cool little toys
I bought these as a surprise for a long car trip and they were a hit. I had to help with some stickers at a rest stop, but the suction cups meant they were easy to position on the window or a lap desk and made for an hour of imaginative play, which I considered well worth the price even if they never get used for stop motion like I originally hoped he'd pursue.

Kids absolutely loved it
If your kiddos like stick it’s, this will not disappoint. I have 9 & 10 year old boys and they were beside themselves with excitement at all the little accessories included and the very large size dragon or whatever it is. It’s much bigger than it appears in the picture.

You pay for the name
I will never understand how do use dollar tree toys sell for as much as they do. That being said, my child loves them. The quality of the string stays intact and the sticker for the face rubs off overtime.

A great set. The Dragon is cool
A few month ago, we got my son some stickbot toys like these. Apparently he’d seen videos made with them and wanted make his own. Since then, we’ve gotten a few stickbot toys, of which this set is the latest. The stickbot line of toys is designed to help create stop motion animations. Stop motion works by taking a picture, moving a figure slightly, then moving it again and so on. When the images are played one after another at 12 to 24 frames a second, you have a movie. Stop motion is how the original King Kong was put into film in the 1930’s and is a time honored film animation technique. The stickbots are jointed in multiple places and designed to be pose-able. The design works well, allowing for fairly complex posing, something needed for stop motion animating. The joints have elastic in them that keeps them fairly fixed and rigid, making them fairly easy to position. They have suction cups on the end of all four limbs so they can be suctioned down onto a flat surface for more complex positioning. In the “Eco Friendly” cardboard box are 4 figures a bunch of wearable accessories for them, and a sheet of stickers to decorate them with. Where this set stands out is the dragon included in the set. It’s pretty cool and provides a great opportunity for play. The stickers are knight themed, so you definitely could do some dragon battle scenes with the set. Also included in the box is a small instruction sheet that provides directions on where to download the related app. The app is only for android and ios devices. I really wish the app was available on the Amazon Fire ecosystem. For safety reasons, I don’t let my young children have smart phones or regular tablets. The Amazon kids ecosystem keeps them safe. It be nice if the app was ported over so I wouldn’t have to supervise my son using my phone to use the app.My son and I made a few short films with the software. The posability of the figures and a little imagination and patience, allow kids to create all sorts of amazing movies with these things. We both had a blast and I will admit that using the app with these things was really cool. Of course, we did end up using it with other things too (like legos). That brings me to my final complaint that I’ve had with all of the stickbot toys we’ve used so far. The suction cups on the figures aren’t that good. Even a really smooth surface won’t work to keep them in place and that lack of suction can ruin a whole stop motion shoot if the thing falls over in the middle of it due to the need to keep the figures static. Maybe better rubber is needed, I’m not sure, but it really is a failing with the figures we got and had the biggest impact on my review score.Bottom Line:On the down side, the suction cups just don’t do a good enough job. Also, can we get a Kindle version of the app? Please? My final takeaway here is that I think the stickbots are cool and we did make some animations with them that we had a blast creating together. They inspired my son's creativity and we have gotten some quality time out of the deal. Kinda priceless.

These are fun toys in nice colors, but the joints move too easily
These toys are very useful for stop motion. The joints can be placed in different orientations, but, unfortunately, but the joints move a little too easily when playing with it. I wish the suction was a little stronger, as well. They are a good size for stop motion. I really like the characters in this pack, as well. I do think it's a little too expensive for what comes in the pack, though.

My son loves them
I got this set of stikbots for my 9 year old son on a whim. He ended up really liking them. The bungees that hold the body parts together are pretty tough. No breaks yet. He really likes the suction cups. He says it makes it easier for him to pose the figures. I'm glad I found these by chance!

Creative Toys for Kids
Stikbots are fun for creative kids. I ordered this as a gift for boys in the 10-12 age group. The medieval set is unique and great for stop motion videos. The set comes with plenty of accessories to amplify the video. It is easy enough for parents and kids to learn.

Great quality product
This set is so neat and very well made! It comes with stickers to customize the figures. My five-year-old absolutely loves it! I love that it comes with the pieces to use as an attachment for the accessories!
