GF9 Still plagued by horrible quality control problems
I hate giving this miniature such a low review but its really needed for things to improve at GF9. I want to start by saying this is an absolute gorgeous sculpt. No fault at all to the great artist(s) that created this sculpt and the decisions on how this was sliced are very smart.I'm a large consumer of the Gale Force Nine Collector's Series models, I have been collecting, assembling, and painting almost everything they release so I have seen the quality a consistency (or lack thereof) first-hand.This miniature is plagued with many of the same issues I have experienced with the Aurinax/Jarlaxle/beholder miniatures. Out of the box, the pieces simply do not fit.And dont get me wrong, a little trim/sanding/gapfilling/heat gun is always expected when assembling miniatures. But theses do not fit in the EXTREME.It took me around 4 hours to get this miniature assembled with extensive heat guning and reshaping. I have seen some pretty warped or hard to fit miniatures in my 20 years of painting experience but this minitaure Behir and Aurinax or the worst I have ever seen. There is absolutely 0 chance for a consumer of the product I received to have ever successfully assembled this model without expert experience ( which probably accounts for all the low reviews lately of people breaking their miniatures trying to get them to fit)This Behir miniature was also different than all the previous releases in the fact that the different pieces were very obviously cast at different times, with a very different resin mixture. This was evident with all the different color pieces. The two halves of the terrain (rock) pieces were extremely different in resin color and also detail. This is simply inexcusable for miniatures that are at this price point, especially when compared to competition that is sometimes cheaper and have much higher quality and consistency.

The parts don't fit
I'll have to second what was already written about this one; the parts simply don't fit together, and this won't be obvious until it's too late to return it. Sadly not worth buying.

Not worth the price
It would take an expert to try and make this work. The molds are all different and dont fit together right. Would not recomend this.

Ill fitting and mismatched parts. Avoid
Its looks nice, and had good luck with some other galeforce nine items. But this one had some major gaps and issues with halfs meeting up, I could get the top to look good, but would have huge gaps on the bottom. Even the base had gaps of 1/8 to 1/5 of a inch. And the differ section of the body also had fit problemsThis could be a great model for someone with the time and skill to fill in all the gaps with greenstuff and rebuild sections.

Hundreds of minis and I’m finally disappointed with one.
The most important aspect of a high grade miniature like this is that it should be able to have all its pieces fit together. Out of the 13 piece included in this only the 2 out of the 3 head piece for together properly.
